You already know me. My name isMecho. I am a Bernese mountain dog. I

will be 3 years old on Sept 23, 2014. I amwhat you call a working dog and I pull a

cart. Sometimes I pull Christmas trees,dogs and children. I weigh about 100

pounds. I love getting dressed up and

having my picture taken.My hobbies are rally, agility, fly ball, and

obedience training. I have tried otherthings but these are the things I do best.My favourite toy is a stuffed elephant

named Elephanta.I like my dog food, but I really love

bananas and peanut butter.

My name is Bandit and I am a 7 years old

Shih Tzu. My very first toy and myfavourite is my plastic boomerang. I loveto chase around my stuffed dog and

stuffed cat. I am the Therapy dog at Tabormanor in St. Catharines

On the day of the St. John AmbulanceAwards ceremony, Mecho gave me a ridein her cart. I won an award for the mostcute and cuddly therapy dog.

My name is Regan. I am a golden

retriever and a friend of Mecho. We areSt. John Ambulance therapy dogs. I am 5 years old and love being a therapy

dog. I put on my bandana and vest andoff I go! This is a picture of me in a

parade where people wanted to pet me.I visit children in schools who read their

books to me.I also visit the residents of Hospice

Niagara and I am told I bring joy to thosethat I meet. I join Mecho and my other

friends at the Brock Puppy Room wherethe students come and give us lots of

love.

My name is Jamie. Mecho and I arefriends. I will be 6 on September 7, 2014. Iam a Golden Retriever. Mecho and I do

all kinds of things together. We are

therapy dogs, we do many things for St.Johns. I visit senior homes, reading withthe children, parades, visit with students

at Brock and more.I like to walk with my Mom in the park

and meet people who like to pat me. I goto obedience class once a year. Just tostay in shape. My trainer Jess makes sure

of that.Peanut butter is my favorite and licking

Hi my name is Bridgette and I am a 2 year old English Bulldog. I weigh only 51pounds. I enjoy visiting my seniors every

Wednesday and our Brock students in

spring & fall. My dad loves to bring me toall the St. John Ambulance Therapy dogevents where I spend time with him and

get to see all my other Therapy Dogfriends. My mom works to keep me and

other pets healthy at her Grimby animalhospital. She also keeps our therapy dogprogram running smoothly.

My favourite hobbies are sleeping,snoring, getting petted, having my white

coat brushed, chewing rawhide

and playing with my rubber duckie. I alsolike to play a mean game of little stick

floor hockey with my youngest brother.

My name is Bosco. I am a 7 1/2 year oldchocolate lab and weigh about 75

pounds. I love to go swimming in the lakeand enjoy all my classes at dog school,especially agility. My favorite toys areballs and I really like it when I have to

swim after them. My favorite special treatis a small ice cream cone. I love visiting

with children and seniors.

My name is Chubbs. I am an 8 year old

Pug. Pugs are one of the oldest breeds ofdogs. They originated in China.

I love visiting adults and children andespecially like when they scratch my ears.

My favourite activities are walks along

the beach, lying in the sun and chasingsquirrels. My favourite toy is Pluto andIve had him since I was a puppy. I love

eating chicken and liver treats.I have lots of friends that I like to play

with. I especially like big dogs and like tofollow them around. We like to play in

my backyard, go for walks and go to thepark.

My name is Derby a 5 year old, maleWest Highland White Terrier. I live in St.Catharines with Angela and my brother

Westie, Finlay. Although Finlay is 1- yearsold we share the same birthday of June 4.One of my most favourite things to do is

work as a Therapy Dog for St. JohnAmbulance. Angela and I travel every

week to visit the residents at The StablerCentre (Hospice Niagara) and Tufford

Retirement Home. The minute I get toStabler and Tufford my tail wags, my ears

prick up and I smile at everyone I see.Its just so good to meet thestaff and

residents. We also walk in parades with

St. John Ambulance and my caninetraining group and attend fun events with

other Therapy Dogs.

My name is Mickey I am part Chihuahua

and I weight 7 lbs. I am 3 years old andhave a brother Tequila. I love Tequila

and we play together all the time. . Welike to sleep together too. I love to play

with my small ball. Tequila will chase the

ball with me, but I am faster and usuallyget the ball first. I am going to start

agility classes in September. I am lookingforward to learning new things. I love

when children read books to me and pet

me. I really like it when my friend Mechopulls Tequila and me, in her cart, it is somuch fun!

My name is Tequila. I am a Chihuahuaand I weigh 6 pounds. I just turned 2 on

July 29. My brother Mickey and I are bestfriends. We play together all the time. Iam shy at first but really like being with

people once I get to know them. Mickeyhas stories read to him and I can hardlywait until I can have children read to metoo. I am taking obedience training andhopefully can join Mickey in the agility

classes. My favourite toy is a stuffed tigerthat is bigger than me, but I carry it

around all over.

My name is Magee. I am a golden

retriever. I will be two years old on Sept14, 2014. My favorite activity is retrieving aball. My mom throws the ball and I runafter it and bring it back to her. My dad

throws it in the air and I can catch it!

Wow, it is so much fun.I love to ride in the car. It doesn't matter

if we are only going to the corner store orfor a long drive. I like to sit up front and

take the sights in.I go to agility classes. Running, jumping,

going through tunnels is so much fun.My favourite food is peanut butter on

crackers!
