    Space Technology of Ultra-Weatherable Coating Bonnflon NC (W#1500SR II) Coating System is a revolutionary, Flouroroesin based, one-pack type reactive curing coating material that is soluble and able to harden at normal temperature. Made of 3F Lumifon Fluororesin, Bonnflon NC (W#1500SR II) Coating System has extremely high resistance against pollution, weathering, high humidity, salt-attack, chemicals or staining. It is far more durable than conventional coating systems plus superior gloss, transparency and recoatability. Fluororesin coating has been used in a wide range of applications from industrial through household products, and even in the field of space exploration. Together with the unique Soil-release (SR) Technology, Bonnflon state-of-the-art coating system has opened up a new era of maintenance-free exterior finishing.     Storage Requirement In order to ensure product integrity prior to the application, it is mandatory to comply with the following requirements of storage:

    Store materials away from open flames or excessive heat

    Do not expose materials to sunlight for a long period of time

    Keep all containers away from moisture Do not expose materials to freezing conditions Keep containers air-tightly sealed

    Leading Fluororesin Coating Technolgy

    Weather-resistant 3F Lumifon Fluororesin Bonnflon is a fluororesin-based paint soluble in solvent

    which reacts with isocyanate resin as a hardener that dries at

    normal temperature. The solvent-soluble fluoropolymer

    Lumiflon offers excellent weather-resistant coatings in vivid

    colours applicable with a wide selection of application

    processes.

    1. 3F FEVE Fluororesin Lumiflon makes regularly mutual

    arrangement of Fluoromonomer and other monomer

    which need to paint. Namely, every vinyl-ether which

    is weak for Ultraviolet Rags are protected by

    Fluoromonomer which is strong for ultra-violet Rags.

    2. F-monomer of FEVE (Lumiflon) is copolymerized with

    vinyl ether in alternate sequence while other 3Fs are in

    non-alternate sequence. Because of the alternate

    sequence, F-monomer of FEVE (Lumiflon) is strongly

    combined with vinyl ether and this results high

    weatherability.

    3. Other 3Fs or 4Fs are irregularly combined with vinyl

    ester. Some molecules of vinyl ester link to each

    other in part of the structure. As a result, the part is

    very weak and not resistant to ultra-violet.

    4. 2F is basically blended with acrylic resin that the

    combination is easily broken by Ultraviolet Rays.

    Soil Released (SR) Function

    1. When the contact angle of the water dropping on the surface of substrate is less than 90, the water goes

    into the part where there is between the surface of substrate and pollutants on the surface.

    2. Plus, the water falls down at all direction towards down. Because of 1 and 2, it is hard to see the line of rainfall and pollutants when you use SR. In addition with statement 1 and 2, right after applying Bonnflon SR, the contact angle is relatively high

    (around 76). After 500 hours of Weatherability test, the contact angle is changing and getting better. The more the contact angle becomes low, the more the pollutants on the surface are reduced.
