WHY B ONDI C HA I

Chai is one of the fastest growing beverage categories in the world and is just now becoming a ‘trendy’ drink in the markets across the world

Great taste/mouth feel – usually served as a latte, includes black tea, honey and ‘comfort spices’ – vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, star anise.

Comes in two great flavours: Vanilla Honey for those new to chai and the more “traditional spiced chai” flavour of Club Cinnamon.

Great profitability: costs about 40 cents per serve, (around 70c per serve made up, including milk). 1kg makes up 100 serves. Sells for same price as café latte

Easy to make – two heaped teaspoons of powder into 180ml of milk in steaming jug, steam to frothy latte (add powder to glass and pour on steamed milk while stirring to avoid need for dedicated jug). No grinding or steeping time required.

Looks similar to (but deliberately lighter in colour than) latte coffee, has an alluring aroma and has a quirky name – all of which makes people curious/unafraid to try it.

Low in Caffeine – a 180ml chai latte has just 25mg of caffeine (hot chocolate has 16mg, brewed tea has 40-60mg and brewed coffee has 80-135mg). Also low fat, gluten free and has no trans fatty acids.

Bondi Chai is not an opposition to coffee but creates an option for non-coffee drinkers who want a creamy, frothy milk drink like their friends. And because it’s so easy to drink, it almost always generates a second cup – doubling profits.

It’s made almost entirely from locally produced ingredients and without artificial flavours, fillers, anti-caking agents, whiteners or preservatives.

Our support – we know how to develop and grow a loyal following for our product and support our product in a variety of highly effective ways from sampling to a great range of high-class POS materials.

Formulated specifically as a powder not a syrup which makes it a more stable product (shelf life at least 2 years) and easier to handle (less mess).

Its Gluten free

Bondi Chai comes with a Halal certification and hence is a compliant with Sharia.
