Bona H670 is a calcium sulphate-based smoothing and levelling compound specially designed for use under mosaic, multi-layer and solid wood parquet.

Bona H660 is a cementitious, smoothing, levelling compound specially designed for use under mosaic, multi-layered or solid wood parquet in commercial sectors.

Bona Fibers are alkali-resistant reinforcement glass fibers designed primarily to increase the flexural and structural strength of Bona self-levelling compounds, e.g. Bona H600. In addition an increase in the adhesion and strength of the levelling compound is also seen. Bona Fibers do not change the handling properties of the Bona levelling compound. The use of Bona Fibers is recommended on flexible subfloors, e.g. nailed/screwed down planks or board floors, such as chipboard, OSB or plywood, fixed over joints or battens.

Bona U300 is an underlayment made of cork and rubber granules. Used under parquet, laminate floors and other floor coverings, it re-duces the transmission of sound from footfall.

Bona U340 is a polyester fibre board underlay (4 mm) that reduces the stress transferred to the subfloor when installed prior to the final floor covering e.g. ceramic tiles, natural stone, wooden flooring etc. The high compressive strength allows it to tolerate high loads (up to 5.0 kN/m²). It is suitable for use in domestic and commer-cial premises. Additionally, acoustic dampening for all floor types is significantly improved. It is easy to cut to shape and install and is unaffected by damp and fungal decay.

Bona R850 is an elastic; compliant to EN 14293 (soft); 1-component silane-based adhesive for parquet floors. The hardened adhesive is similar to conventional adhesives – able to withhold thrust during expansion, while the resistance against shrinkage is very low. Tensions to the sub floor are therefore reduced. The use of a primer is, in general, not necessary. The adhesive hardens by a chemical reaction with moisture.

Bona R870T is a hard elastic 1-component silane-based adhesive for parquet floors compliant to EN 14293 (hard). It is a “pure binder” system; it does not contain plasticisers or other liquid extenders to improve spreadability and ease application. The hardened adhesive is able to withhold thrust during expansion – due to its hardness it willstabilise the floor, especially solid wooden floors. The use of a primer is, in general, not necessary. The adhesive hardens by a chemical reaction with moisture. Bona R870T is optimised for use with the Bona OptiSpread.

PRINCESS HALL, CHELTENHAM LADIES’ COLLEGEInstalled in 1952, the warm brown Gurjun plank floor of the magnificent hall had displayed considerable surface damage.
