FROM PRESIDENT‟S DESK
A time to reflect a time to look
forward…………
Dear Members and Associates,
Let me start by thanking you for an amazing year marked by good health and cheer, as well
as by some inspirational ideas and benchmarks set up. As we step into a brand-new year,
it‘s important to take stock and reflect upon the many accomplishments at BMA. For me, it
has been an incredible source of pride to witness the reach of this association and the way
it touches so many lives in so many positive ways.
It was your decision, through the Executive Committee which put me into this role, and I
feel a deep gratitude for your trust and at the same time a grave responsibility thinking of
what the job requires. The challenge comes mostly from the need to stay relevant in the
rapidly changing times and environment.
We are happy to share with you some of the key highlights:
In the first executive committee meeting this year, a series of actions directly connected
with BMA Membership were decided. The following have already been implemented.
For Membership Development / MDS efforts were initiated by organising a few events
such as one with Mr Venky of Goli Vada Pav at WeSchool, Suresh Srinivasan on Enthusiasm
& Happiness at ITM Business School, Kharghar, Riti Menda on Emotional Intelligence & Dr.
Rupa Mehta on Effective Physiotherapy for good health at Nehru Centre and Synergistic
Interaction with officers of College of Defence Management at BMA office. Our VP is
leading this activity and taking it forward. A systematic approach and follow up is done to

proposed in his book „Leap frogging to Pole vaulting‟ which received the prestigious „2019

vision and with a focused action plan revolving around our four core flagship offerings
