BOLZONI Group started business in China in 1998, when the Tiger company, one of key players in South East Asia in material handling & logistics, became Bolzoni Auramo’s distributor for China.

In 2004 the huge growth potential of the Chinese market motivated Bolzoni to invest in China, by opening a new subsidiary in the Shanghai area. Bolzoni Auramo (Shanghai) Forklift Truck Attachment Co., Ltd., was both a manufacturing and sales facility supplying the Chinese market with fork lift truck attachments, and providing after sales services and spare parts support.

To further strengthen its position in China, Asia and Pacific areas and better serve these markets, BOLZONI decided to set up two further production plants:

• Bolzoni-Huaxin (HEBEI) Forks Manufacturing Co., Ltd. opened in May 2012 - for the production of Bolzoni forks in China

• Bolzoni-Auramo (WUXI) Forklift Truck Attachment Co., Ltd. opened in March 2013 - for the production of attachments for fork lift trucks and side shifters

This state-of-the-art manufacturing plant involves highly trained and skilled personnel, specialized equipment and a combination of traditional and sophisticated production methods and technology.

Technology

In accordance with the Group policy, Bolzoni-Auramo (WuxI) is totally committed to continuous quality improvement, from product design to after-sale service, providing excellence to customers worldwide.Analysis instruments, stringent quality controls, technical support and tests allow Bolzoni-Auramo (WuxI) to supply quality products satisfying all customer requirements. To guarantee the complete control over the quality, all production phases, from raw material to the finished product, are performed internally.

QualiTy

Bolzoni-Auramo (WuxI) principally acts as the nerve centre for Asia and Pacific markets but also serves Europe and America for specific needs.

Bolzoni-Auramo (WUXI) Forklift Truck Attachment Co., Ltd.

Plant based in Wuxi (Xishan District, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province). 160 km from Shanghai port.

The factory is located in the industrial district of Xishan, with high availability of technicians.Proximity to the Shanghai port and the good transportation access allow speedy deliveries to both local and long distance markets.This production plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of attachments for fork lift trucks and side shifters.Besides the activities connected to the sales of new forklift truck attachments, Bolzoni-Auramo (Wuxi) guarantees our customers a well-equipped stock of attachments locally manufactured, spare parts supply, rental, repair, refurbishing, service in-house or on customer site. The team includes experienced engineers to satisfy specific customer requirements.

LONGHUA TOWN

Bolzoni-Huaxin (HEBEI) Forks Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

Plant based in Longhua Town (Jing County, Hebei). 250 km south west of Beijing.

Land size: 45.000 sq.m.

Bolzoni-Huaxin (HEBEI) is the result of a joint venture between BOLZONI SpA, Italy (60%) and Hebei Jing County Huaxin Forks Co. Ltd., China (40%). The factory is located in the new industrial district of Longhua strongly vocated to fork manufacturing, guaranteeing a highly specialized workforce on this product. The high concentration of steel factories ensures a constant flow of raw material. The location in an area logistically well served, thanks to the proximity to the Highway and the Tianjin port, means excellent lead times for products.The initial plant production capacity of 200.000 pieces per year can be increased to 500.000 per year. The forks produced range from 1 to 6 ton capacity for hook-on standard ISO class versions up 15 ton capacity for special application versions.

The production in Bolzoni-Huaxin (HEBEI) combines both advanced technologies and efficient high-capacity processes, and includes:• Prime quality steel offering good welding characteristics and strong resistance to wear.• Innovative and highly automated production process,• Automated welding of upper and lower hooks with a robotic system, granting

better quality of the welding, quality repeatability and higher process speed,• Complete heat treatment with hardening and tempering on the entire fork, providing

the best quality and reliability.

Technology

Certified quality of chemical composition and of the heat treatment applied on raw material used. Bar coding allowing for the tracking of raw material back to source. All forks produced comply with the parameters outlined in ISO 2328 and 2330. In order to satisfy these standards, each different type of forks is subjected to the following tests:

• 1 fatigue test of 1,000,000 cycles at 25% overload• 1 static test of 2 cycles with triple nominal capacity• 1 resilience test at -20°C with a resulting value higher than 27 Joules

QualiTy

Thanks to the extensive BOLZONI Group sales network, forks are distributed worldwide.The Bolzoni-Huaxin (HEBEI) stock provides forks to China, the majority of Asian markets, Europe and uSA.

MEYEr supplies a wide choice of pallet handler models, capacities, widths and fork openings, to satisfy the requirements of all industries where there is a heavy handling of palletized loads and, in particular, soft drink industries, breweries, mineral water bottling plants, food industries, brick industries.

Beverage industry

Our Group offers a wide range of carton and appliances clamps developed for safe and damage-free palletless handling of white goods and high-volume carton boxes in appliance and electronics, warehousing and beverage industries. Our experience allows us to deliver tailor-made solutions in the event of different combinations between load types and configurations, typically found when handling washing machines, refrigerators, microwave ovens, televisions and other appliances.
