Audience favorites like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Gone with the Wind, and The Pink Panther will be heard while accompanied by vintage images, film clips, and movie trivia on screen. This performance marks the first time the Boise Phil has put on a concert sequencing many film scores into one performance. The orchestra has presented three feature length film concerts, including the first two films from the Harry Potter series, and the original Star Wars: A New Hope film. Hollywood Hits doesn’t focus on one film, but offers the chance to hear a multitude of film scores from the classic Hollywood library in one sitting while viewing stills, clips, and movie trivia on the big screen. Tickets for this performance are on sale now at boisephil.org or by calling 208-344-7849. Student 25% discounts are available through March 25 by calling the Boise Phil office, and student rush tickets will be available at the door for $20 cash the night of the performance.
