TENDER FOR PURCHASE OF UPS SYSTEM INCLUDING BATTERIES

Bank of India Ghaziabad zone intends to procure 5 KVA UPS system (including UPS and SMF batteries) for our branches in UP (west) and Uttrakhand states and under buy back scheme. Vendors with Service/Support in Ghaziabad Zone will be an added advantage for evaluation purpose. The detailed requirement is given as per the attached sheets. Interested bidders may submit the quotes as per the formats given.

A. Guarantee and Maintenance: The supplier (L1) shall be responsible for any defects in manufacturing, installation and performance and rectify/replace the same at their cost to the entire satisfaction of the Bank for a period of 48 (Forty Eight) months for UPS and 36 (Thirty Six) months for batteries from the date of installation in the branches.

B. Free Service: During the warranty period the UPS System & Batteries shall be taken care free of cost by the supplier. Any item, if damaged within the warranty period, shall be replaced with new one forthwith by the supplier within 24 hours. C. Unit Price of item(s) specified in the proposal has to be quoted for delivery at destination inclusive of freight,

taxes, octroi etc. No charges other than the quoted price (except entry tax in Uttrakhand, if any) shall be paid.

Vendors are advised to submit financial bid and technical bid separately in the sealed envelope and the complete tender in all respects to be kept in sealed cover duly superscribed “TENDER FOR PURCHASE OF UPS SYSTEMS IN GHAZIABAD ZONE”. The Tender form can also be downloaded from our website www.bankofindia.com.

D. Miscellaneous: 1) The price quoted shall be inclusive of transportation, loading & unloading, lifting and carriage of equipments. 2) The vendor shall deposit Rs. 10,000/- by way of Demand Draft/Pay Order favouring “Bank of India payable at Ghaziabad” as earnest money. Earnest Money of L-1 vendor for various UPS Systems shall be retained till the expiry of warranty period of UPS system. The earnest money will be refunded to unsuccessful vendor (after receiving request from vendor). Tender Money is Rs 1000/-(Non Refundable). In such cases, pay order/Demand Draft in the name of “Bank of India payable at Ghaziabad” shall be enclosed along with the quotation; otherwise the tender document may be summarily rejected by the Bank. 3) The Bank reserves the right to shift the equipment’s to a suitable location depending upon the need. The vendor will arrange to shift the equipment and install and commission the same. 4) The Bank reserve the right to cancel the order in case delivery not effected within stipulated time. 5) The bid shall be typed or hand written in indelible ink and shall be signed by the bidder or person duly authorized to bid for the bidder. All pages of the bid, except unammended printed literature, shall be initialed by the person signing the bid. 6) Zonal Office/Branch shall release the payment after successful installation of UPS Systems at the branches on submission of Invoice / Delivery Challan (duly signed with date and official seal ) and installation report duly signed by the Officer / Manager (Mentioning his name) from the concerned branch. 7) Payment Terms: a) 90% on delivery and installation within 15 days of submission of above said documents. No Advance is payable. b) 10% after completion of replacement guarantee period or against suitable bank guarantee for replacement guarantee period. 8) The delivery / installation of the item(s) have to be completed as per the purchase order else liquidated damages for late delivery @ 1% of the order amount per week (Maximum 10%) shall be charged. The bank vests the discretion to cancel / change the order at any instance during supply without prejudice to its rights. 9) The participating bidders must also quote their rates for AMC of these UPS in the ANNEX-2 (FINANCIAL SPECIFICATION) for AMC of the UPS after expiry of the warranty period.
