Monday Morning
• Arrive at school at the normal time and come into the hall (open from 8:40) with bags. Make sure all items and bags are named please.
• Give any medicines, which must be clearly named with times and dosage in a plastic bag – please include a spoon if needed, to Mrs Pass. Children must not keep any medicines at all!
• Children will need a packed lunch and a drink in a small refillable plastic bottle. Water or weak juice is best.
• A small packet of wet wipes will come in useful.
• After registration we aim to leave between 9:15 and 9:30 am.
Arrival at the Youth Hostel
• When we arrive at Boggle Hole, the coach will drop us off in the car park so we will walk with our cases and bags to the youth hostel.
• Children need to be able to carry/pull their bags from the car park to the youth hostel!
• The bags will be stowed initially but they will have to carry them up to their rooms later on.
• Lunch then activities.

9:15 - 9:30 Leave school on coach

12:30(ish) Arrive at Boggle Hole, walk to hostel and store bags.

Arrive back at school 4pm (approx.)
What to take
• A small suitcase and a rucksack for the walk
• Waterproof coat and wellies/walking boots
• Pyjamas and teddy
• Dress for the weather – coast will be colder
• Small towel and toilet bag with soap and toothbrush and
toothpaste. Hairbrush/comb/hair bobbles
• If you want to send a camera it may be better to send a
disposable one, no valuable cameras please.
Clothing
• Do not send expensive or inappropriate clothing
which might get spoilt.
• We will be walking and mainly doing outdoor
activities
• Do send a sun hat and small tube of sun cream, but
also gloves and a warm hat.
• Please put names in everything!
Bedtime
• The children will sleep in small dormitories in two
buildings. Members of staff will be sleeping in both
buildings and will be on duty throughout the evening.
• Our corridors are access controlled. We are all on
one corridor or over in a separate building.
• We will tell the children about dorm allocations when
we stow bags
Extras
• Strictly no mobile phones or electronic games
• Up to £5 pocket money to spend in the local shop
where you can buy an ice-cream and small gifts.
There will be no other chance to spend any money.
• Puzzle book or reading book for the evening when
they go to bed or if they wake up early!
Return to school
• We aim to leave the Youth Hostel at about 1:30pm , so by the
time we have walked back to the coach and loaded the bags we
should arrive back in school by approximately 4:00-4:30 pm.
• We will inform school when we leave Boggle Hole so a message
will be posted on the school website/twitter if the time is
different.
• Please ensure that your child knows who will be waiting to pick
them up. Please ensure after school club know who to expect.
