In order to understand how someone behaves when they lie, you must first understand the body language they exhibit when telling the truth

Start the interview process with general questions, this will build a baseline

They can completely contradict the impression you’re trying to create by what you're saying

When lying someone may pull back the small muscles around the mouth this shows signs of stress, simultaneously another micro expression with be raising of the eye brows also signifying stress.

Let’s say you ask the interview question : tell us about a time when things went wrong when doing a project at work? The person answers the question but after each sentence a very subtle sly smile appears, they do not know that they are doing this and are probably lying and happy that you to believe it.
