Life is good

A nice, calm, and respect-able lady went into the

pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked

straight into his eyes, and said, “I would like to buy

some cyanide.” The phar-macist asked, “Why in the world do you need cya-

nide?” The lady replied, “I need it

to poison my husband.” The pharmacist’s eyes got

big and he exclaimed, “Lord have mercy! I can’t

give you cyanide to kill your husband. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have

any cyanide!” The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a pic-ture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist’s wife. The pharmacist looked at the picture and said, “You didn’t tell me you had a

prescription.”

Life is not perfect. Life is not easy. Life is good.

It's nice to see Charlie and Mar-ilyn back from vacation. While the cat was away the mice played at a couple of nice car shows that netted the club the funds that they needed for the scholarship fund. Please don't forget Ad-vance Auto is having a hot dog day on March 29th this will be an all day event. I hope that I will see s few of the club members at some-time during the day. Morning Coffee With Charlie

Remembering Past Moments (by Lou Fabian)

Last month’s article in the newsletter, “Daytona 1997 Trip”, reminded me of my trip to Daytona International Race-way with my son Clicker the same year (1997). I took Clicker there to celebrate his graduation from CB West Highschool and being selected as the most valuable (male) athlete of the year. I treated him with a Richard Petty Driving Experience at Daytona. That day, the three cars being used were #3—#43—#88. He was waiting in line for his turn. Finally it was his turn and the #3 pulled up. Now I must emphasize that I am not a Dale Earn-hart fan and Clicker was well aware of that. Clicker briefly looked at the #3 car and then his Dad. At that moment I made a small comment (jokingly) “ It’s a long walk to Interlachen”. With that being said, he stepped aside, let-ting the lady behind him take his place. He really did enjoy his ride in the #43 Car (Richard Petty).

WOMEN'S REVENGE 'Cash, check or charge?' I asked, after folding items the woman wished to pur-chase. As she fumbled for her wallet, I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. 'So, do you always carry your TV re-mote?' I asked. 'No,' she replied, 'but my husband re-fused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally.'

CREATION A man said to his wife one day, 'I don't know how you can be so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time. 'The wife responded, 'Allow me to ex-plain. God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me; God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!

WHO DOES WHAT A man and his wife were having an argu-ment about who should brew the coffee each morning. The wife said, 'You should do it because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee. The husband said, 'You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee.' Wife replies, 'No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee.' Husband replies, 'I can't believe that, show me.' So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says . 'HEBREWS'
