    How to make bobble stitch?

    Yarn over (yo), insert hook into st, yo and draw up a loop, yo and draw through first 2 loops on

    hook repeat this combination at total 5 times = 6 loops should be on the hook. Then yo and draw through all loops.

  • PURSE Make 2, follow the diagram and description below.

    Ch20

    Row1: (WS) insert hook into 2nd

    st - sc, sc into each st across = 19 sts. Turn.

    Row2: (RS) ch1 to count as 1st sc, [bbst into next st, sc into next st] repeat across to end =

    9bbst. Turn.

    Row3 and 5: (WS) ch1 to count as 1st sc, sc into each st across = 19 sts. Turn.

    Row4 and 6: (RS) as Row2

    Row7: (WS) decrease, ch1 to count as 1st sc, sc2tog, sc into next 14 sts, sc2tod = 17 sts. Turn.

    Row8: (RS) decrease, miss first st, sc, [bbst into next st, sc into next st] repeat 7 times = 15 sts. Turn.

    Row9: (WS) decrease, ch1 to count as 1st sc, sc2tog, sc into next 10 sts, sc2tod = 13 sts. Turn.

    Row10: (RS) ch1 to count as 1st sc, sc into each st across = 13 sts.

    Fasten off.

    * You can make 6 rows of bobble stitch instead 4.

    Assembly

    Place to pieces together and work sc around the edges to join them as you see on the picture.

    Beading

    Using invisible thread and sewing needle sew-on beads into the spaces between bobble stitches.

  • Lining

    Lay bag out flat and cut fabric to fit dimensions of bag, allowing for seams at side edges only.

    Fold lining in half with right sides together and sew side as you see on the picture. Insert lining

    and attach to top edges of bag.

    Finishing

    Using 1 ply of yarn (split on 3 ply) and sewing needle attach purse frame to top edges of bag.
