• Active participation throughout GS1 is a key underpinning in meeting our objective to identify, develop and deploy global standards.

• Securing the participation required to meet this objective continues to be a challenge for many reasons.

 • The GSMP team has been working on tactical initiatives to

increase participation.

• It’s time to address this at a more strategic level and explore the many dimensions, challenges and opportunities in securing consistent and high quality levels of GS1 wide participation.

Leveraged the flexible framework to support integration of external contributions

Increased the number of IP sign ups by 43% & implemented both IP Contribution and IP invited expert agreements for government agencies.

77 additional organizations bringing the total to 254

Approved 55 e-Ballots

Implemented tactical initiatives to better support participation and are working on strategic opportunities

Started GSMP visibility to harmonize, integrate and simplify our reporting and communications
