A Boathouse sublimation artist creates a full-size, full-color image of your team’s design.

Each size is individually created and custom fitted to your approved design.

The uniform is ‘printed’ on special transfer paper using heat-sensitive dyes.

Blank uniform ‘pieces’ are cut in our Philadelphia factory from performance fabricsdeveloped for Boathouse Sports.

The blank pieces are placed on top of the printed paper uniform and sent through a special heating process

The printed design ‘transfers’ to the blank fabric pieces creating a permanent bond.

Sublimation designs won’t crack, peel, fade or wear off.

Boathouse Logos

The Boathouse will be sublimated on each garment. Location of this logo varies by style.your Boathouse representative can work with you reguarding the specific location of thebased on the styles you select.

Team Logos, Names, Numbers & Other Sublimated Designs

Team logo locations and size parameters vary by style. Your Boathouse representative can show you the available logo locations for any particular style.

Boathouse makes every effort to guide teams with respect to sport specific uniform rules and regulations. Many of the styles, while featured for a particular sport, are often purchased by teams for alternate sports. Many of our styles are suitable for multiple sports. Teams should have a clear understanding of the uniform rules and regulations for their sport as they design their uniforms. Teams should carefully review the art approval provided by Boathouse prior to the manufacture of sublimated uniforms.

Boathouse has a vast library of fonts, mascots and symbols for your use. Your Boathouse representative can work with you on available artwork for your project. Custom designs are our specialty and limited only by your imagination.

There are no sublimation art set up costs for stock images & fonts or for custom images provided to Boathouse in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or (.eps) format. Artwork not providedin this format will be charged a $50 set up fee per logo. Custom Colors or subdesigns have a $120 design fee. We’ll waive that fee for orders of 100 pieces or more.

Care of Sublimated Garments

The sublimation process creates a permanent bond between the fabric and the design. Sublimated designs will not peel, crack or fade over time. Some pilling can occur naturally over time and with repeated wear. Contact with Velcro or other rough surfaces will damage the fabric and care should be taken to avoid contact with abrasive surfaces or items.

As with any garment, following the prescribed washing instructions is crucial to the continued long life of your sublimated uniform

Boathouse Quality Guarantee

Boathouse designs and engineers every garment to meet the rigorous needs of our athletes. Boathouse guarantees all our products against defects in materials or workmanship. Defective or damaged products should be returned to Boathouse for evaluation and will be repaired or replaced if a defect is discovered by our quality team. Improper care, misuse or excessive wear and tear and the natural breakdown of colors and materials over time are not covered by the Boathouse guarantee but may be able to be repaired for a nominal fee at our factory. Products must be cleaned prior to return to Boathouse.

Reorders

All Boathouse styles and designs are kept in our permanent archives for reorders and fill-ins. Reorders and fill-ins are subject to normal minimums and surcharges. Styles that no longer appear in our catalog may still be reordered, subject to current costs and availability. In the event a supplier has discontinued a raw material component, Boathouse will offer a comparable substitute.
