Physical / Functional Checks Pass Fail

1. Confirm sucker rod threads will make up firmly to new threaded component

2. Confirm both fishing neck shoulders are sharp and have clean edges

3. Confirm the socket screw makes-up firmly against core 4. Confirm shear shoulder of shear pin hole is square and not

starting to round off.

5. Confirm key retainers are installed in right position as per diagram. NOTE - If key retainers are installed in wrong position it WILL cause a misrun and could result in a fishing job.

6. Confirm locater keys are held out firmly by key springs. 7. With shear pin removed, confirm locater keys will move

freely into released position.

8. Confirm all threaded connections are tight (top sub and core nut)

9. Confirm shear pin is not pre-sheared at all 10. Confirm that the tungsten carbide wear inserts in the keys

are visible

11. Confirm that the springs behind the keys have been installed the correct way up (especially on the 4.562 shifting tool) NOTE if springs are installed the wrong way up the keys may not collapse below SSD ID and the tool may become jammed
