DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)
Automatically stabilizes the car with engine and braking
In M Dynamic Mode (MDM), the M-specific system intervenes later,
allowing the driver to push the limits of driving dynamics.
When DSC is fully deactivated, controlled drifts are even possible.
Also fulfills numerous other functions:
• Brake drying
• Hill-start assistant
• Braking readiness function (builds pressure in the brakes if the driver suddenly releases the accelerator)
• Braking assistant (implements a complete deceleration if the brakes are applied erratically but too tentatively)
• Cornering Brake Control (prevents dangerous spinning by using asymmetrical brake force distribution)
DSC
LAUNCH CONTROL.
Upshifts are done automatically as long as the flag symbol is displayed,
the accelerator pedal is not released and the 22 second acceleration
time limit has not been exceeded.
The engine speed for taking off is approximately 3500 rpm and can be adjusted
using the cruise control switch by a maximum of +/-500 rpm in 100 rpm increments.
1. Deactivate Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).
4. Fully depress the accelerator
pedal and hold this position.
Launch Control is available with an engine oil at operating temperature
(after an uninterrupted drive of at least 6 miles).*

* Restarting of Launch Control is blocked until an acceptable engine temperature threshold is reached. Do not use Launch Control during the first 1,200 miles of the engines life.

the brake strongly with the left foot.
