A great way to sell these products is to offer our new car customers an edition car that is highly

competetive to other brands.

So a strong cooperation between aftersales and the sales department is vital to get these

wonderful brand new products out there on the streets.

I will show you some examples on how to make an edition car that is in comparrison a great

choice for our customers

Power Kit F30 N55

Availability Power Kit 3 Series F30 /N55/ 335i (240KW / 450Nm respect. 430Nm)

The Power Kit requires the latest workshop-tester ISTA/P-Version, which will be available as of

March 2013 via jetstream. All approaches to get the Power Kit earlier unfortunately failed due

to Series process issues. The Power Kit can not be installed with a previous ISTA/P -Version!

For an interim solution, a manual “walkaround” (irap) by opening a PUMA case is going to be

implemented in January.

This regulation applies to Power Kit part number: 11 12 2 334 336 & 11 12 2 294 611.

Puma case has been sent out to markets and details can be found under PUMA# AG

53218241-01.

Retrofitting of F30 N55 Power Kit 11 12 2 334 336 & 11 12 2 294 611 can be carried out

(programmable) with standard HO tools (ISTA/P) as of version 2.49.1.

The standard retrofitting/ordering process will run as of March 2013 once March ISTA/P

version is valid.

Technical issues

Problems in Norway to program Powerkits for 520d, 320d & 120d.

If the car have SA code 843 (engine layout / Power reduction) please create a PUMA case

right after ordering the powerkit, and please state in the case that you are going to install a

powerkit and need a new VO.

This is only valid when a order for a powerkit has been made on that specific VIN number.

Did you know ? … whats the deal with Carbon ?

- Extremely thin filaments 5-8μm.

- 10 times thinner than a human hair.

- All BMW accessories carbon applications are made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer.

- 20.000 filaments are twisted together to a roving. The roving is being woven to a fabric by a

weaving-machine

- Base material for BMW accessories carbon applications is “prepreg“ => pre-impregnated fibres by epoxy resin.

Press On december 7th we invited the press to come and enjoy our M Performance cars at Trosta Park

racetrack near Arlanda airport.

Despite Snowy weather they had a great time and really enjoyed the products and theoretical walk

thrue.

We had 6 M Performance cars at their desposal and they took alot of nice pictures from our showroom

and also outdoors in action.
