If I am absent?

If I am late and my lesson has started?
We expect you to be on time - preferably 5 minutes early for everyclass.
• If you are late you must still go to the session, where the tutor will decide whether to admit you or set you some workIf you are late on more than 2 occasions in a half-term, your tutor will record this as a cause for concern on your promonitor ILPPersistent lateness will result in a disciplinary hearingHolidays should be taken outside term-time

If I lose or forget my ID card?
All staff, students and visitors must wear a visible ID card at alltimes whilst on College premises.
• If you forget or lose your ID card you must purchase a day pass at reception at a cost of £1• If you exceed 3 day passes you will be referred to the Duty Manager and may be required to purchase a new ID card at a cost of £3.

Construction teams
Working effectively as a team is integral to working in the media &
games industry
Each team member has a different role which compliment
the team as a whole
Activity Two
You will need to assign 5 team members 1. At first everyone will need to make paper
straws
2. Choose the best 2 paper straw makers
3. 2 construction workers
4. A manager that can guide construction and look out for the safety and direction of
the project whilst still being on-hand to make straws and build if necessary
Activity Two
Start in your designated space and build your paper construction to meet at a
middle point1. You may use whatever stable uprights
are available (without damaging art works!)
2. Fill as much space as possible
3. Your structure will be judged on strength (quality) as well as imagination and
beauty)

Star reports are used to monitor attendance and progress. It is supported by a college system called ProMonitor, During the course of the year there will be four STAR one to one interviews with your personal tutor. This begins with your Induction STAR today.
