4.1 The process of installation includes:

1. Unpacking the device.2. Staying the device for one day, in order to avoid destruction by high humidity duringlong distant transportation.3. Assembly of its components and ensure that all connections are firmly inplace.4. Fill the water tank with distilled water only.5. Connect the power supply.6. Switch on the device and test all functions / parameters of thesystem.

Chapter 4 Installation


4.2 Installation

1) Installation treatment handpiece, please follow the figure,Plug the handpiececonnector firmly and properly to avoid the water circulationproblem.

1) Unscrew the Infusion hole cap and the overflow hole cap. (According to the following figure)

2) Infuse distilled water until the water overflow the overflow hole.

3) Ensure that the key is in the off position and that the emergency cut off button is not engaged. Ifit is engaged, release it by rotating the button towards the direction of the arrowindicator.

4) Attach the power cord .5) Switch the circuit breaker to the On position.

6) Switch the unit on by inserting the key and turning it in a clockwise direction. At this time watercirculation and the cooling system startsautomatically.

7) Observe whether water circulation runs well or not. After cooling system runs for at least 1minute, the water slide into the cooling system and then turn off thepower.

8) Then switch on the system. It means you can fully assemble system with handpiece, screw onthe infusion cap.

9) According to the following figure changeable of the various wavelength by 430,530,560,580,640~1200nm filter for spot size: 12*30mm.

10) When replace water1. Drain the remaining water which contains in the handle. Pay particular attention as not tospill any water on the electronic terminals. Wipe off any spilled water with a soft absorbentcloth.2. Replace water every 1-2 months.

CAUTION

1. Only distilled water is to be used in the cooling system.2. When using the system for the first time, rinse the cooling system with distilledwater.3. Ensure that the water level is adequate before treatment to prevent overheating.4. Distilled water is added periodically specially when working in warmer climates and

when the treatment handpiece are changed often.5. Make sure that the treatment head is firmly secured .

Chapter 5 Operation

1Select Therapy ProgramTurn on the key switch of the machineenter Select Therapy Programs interface (as Fig.1).Select the treatment model to enter the interface of relevant treatment.

1. WARNING: HIGH VOLTAGE: please ensure that all panels are secured prior tooperation.

2. Place the treatment head on its support when on standby / simmermode.3. All personnel in the treatment room must wear the protective filteredglasses supplied.4. Make sure the patient is wearing the opaque protective goggles prior to treatment5. Avoid looking directly into the intense light during the treatmenteven if you are

wearing the protection glasses.6. Do not point the treatment head outside the treatment field

After entering the interface of Treatment interface (as shown in Fig.2), press Ready to triggerthe handpiece. Capacitors will be charged automatically. Treatment can begin after chargingaccomplished. Press Standby to turn off the handpiece.

State indicationTo indicate the current state and the flash numbers of the handpiece.

Treatment record To indicate the current treatment record, different treatment records can berecorded to facilitate different patients. Treatment records can be altered, threechoices available.

Cooling adjusting: To adjust the cooling temperature of the handpiece, five levels available. Themore blue snowflakes are, the cooler it will get. When the blue snowflakesdisappear, cooling stops.

Return button: To return to the menu of Select Therapy Program not available when it is gray(during treatment).

IPL energy: Toadjust the output energy of the handpiece. Energy value will be displayed on thescreen while adjusting, adjustable range: 1~50J/cm2. This setting can be donedirectly during treatment with or . to increase, to decreasepress and hold or to rapidly adjust the output energy.

RF energy: To adjust the RF output energy, Energy value will be displayed on the screen whileadjusting, adjustable range: 1~20. This setting can be done directly duringtreatment with or . to increase, to decreasepress or to rapidly adjust the output energy.


The functions of IPL and RF can be turned on or off separately, but make sure that at least one ofthem is turned on. Pressing Ready cannot light the lamp when IPL function is off work.

TreatmentPressing "Ready" button (green) to start treatment head and charge capacitors automatically, Startthe treatment after the capacitors finish charging. Press "Standby" button (red) to light up thetreatment head, system goes into standby mode. After finishing charging, please wait 10 seconds tostart treatment after cooling the treatment head. After pressing "ready" button, any buttons on thescreen no response.After releasing the "ready" button,other button can be adjusted At the end oftreatment, pressing"standby" button exit the treatment program and close the treatmenthead.

Doing the treatment with RF should make the skin good contact with electrode and daubs cold gel.The energy should adjust from low to high and the time can not keep too long when the skincontacts with electrode to avoid scalding. The feeling of RF treatment is hot inner of the skin. If thetingle is strong, the reason could be that the cold gel is not enough and the skin is not goodcontacting with electrode. The way to solve the problem is to daubs cold gel again or adjustelectrode.

LASER treatment

6.1 Principle

E Light(IPL and RF)combines three advanced technologies: Bipolar Radio Frequency + IPL+Skin Contact Cooling.When the three are united in one treatment, wonderful treatmentexperience and result can beexpected. The energy of Radio Frequency can reach the middleand deep layer of the skin and heat up tissue, thus, lower energy is applied during the IPLtreatment. Uncomfortable feeling during the IPL treatment will be decreased significantly andbetter result can be expected. In addition, cooling system involved in E-light can also ease theuncomfortable feeling.The absorbing of the energy of radio frequency is not concerned withmelanin. So, the E-Lighttreatment can get good result on the soft or thin hair so as to decreasethe risk caused by traditional IPL treatment.

6.3 Attentions before the treatment

1. Consultationpatients who have the following conditions but not limited should not take the treatment :A. Pregnant lady;B. Hypersusceptible to light or recently take medicines, such asacheomycin;C. Skin easy to scar;D. Diabetes (blisters maybe appear and not easy to heal up);E. Insolation in sunlight in recent 2 weeks;F.Heart disease;G. Epilepsy, and contagious skin disease, such as herpes;H. Skin cancer.

2. PreparationWhen begin the treatment, take off the accessories such as watch, rings, bracelets orother metallic things which might be reflect light and cause danger during the treatment.Wipe off the cosmetic and clean the skin. Ware the goggles to protect the eyes of thepatients and the beautician.

3. Sanitize the treatment head with alcoholized cottonballs.4. Clean the filters with alcoholized cottonballs.


6.4 Hair removal

1.Cut or shave hair to 1-2mm or ask patients to shave at home 2-3 days before treatment.2. Clear treatment area.3. Turn on machine ,put the 640nm or 690nm filter into the slot, select "hair removal",adjustthe parameter, set it to ready .

4. Put cooling gel on treatment area about 2mm.5. Wear protect goggles for patient andoperator.6. Shot the treatment area, let the crystal tip to touch cooling gel, You are permitted to have1/3 overlapping on treatment area.

7. Wipe off cooling gel after treatment and clear treatment area with cooling water. Ifpatientsfeelwarm or hot, you may put ice bag on treatment area until heat disappear.

6.5 Skin rejuvenation

1.Clear treatment area.2. Turn on machine ,put the 560nm filter into the slot, select "skin rejuvenation",adjust theparameter, set it to ready .

3. Put cooling gel on treatment area about 2mm, you are suggested to put cooling gel inrefrigerator to keep temperature of gel during 0-4.4. Wear goggles for patient and operator5. Shot the treatment area, let the crystal tip to touch cooling gel. You are permitted to have1/3 overlapping on treatment area.

6. Wipe off cooling gel after treatment and clear treatment area with cooling water. Ifpatientsfeel warm or hot, you may put ice bag on treatment area for 30 minutes until heat-feelingdisappears.

6.6 Pigmentation Therapy

6.7 Vascular Therapy

6.10 After Treatment care

Chapter 8 Maintenance

1. Please change the distilled or pure water every 2-3 month to keep the water tank cleanand make sure water circulationwell.

2. Please get water out from the unit before moving it for long distance, e.g. from one city toanother.

3. Clean the main host.4.Clear Sapphire Crystal right after each treatment.5. Clear filter right after each treatment, and put into thebox.6 Replace the treatment hand-piece at a appropriate time(maximum life 100000 shots).
