What is LPG?
LPG means liquefied petroleum gas. It is a mixture of Propane &
Butane.
Who Invented LPG? Walter Snelling
What is the natural form of LP Gas at atmospheric pressure &
temperature? Vapor
What is the form of LPG when contained under pressure ? Liquid
LP Gas vapor is flammable when mixed with Air.
Boiling temperature of propane is -42 degree Centigrade
Boiling point of butane is -0.5 degree centigrade

Fuel Conversion 1. A tea stall is using Kerosene. The owner says he uses 10kg kerosene every day.
How many 12 kg cylinder will be needed by him in a month?
2. An electric heater consumes 30KW/Hr. If that client wants to use LPG, what will
be the consumption of LPG with the machine?
3. Masud Engg has got a tender to construct the road from Gopalganj to Bhanga. He wants
to use LPG to burn the bitumen instead of Coal. When he used Coal, his consumption was
1 ton per day. What is their LPG requirement per hour?

Industrial Solution by BM LPG
Cylinder Bank with Vaporizer LPG Cylinder Bank
SNG System LPG Storage Tank with Different Sizes
Who Need Cylinder Bank?
• Industries who have small capacity Boiler
• Boilers run by Diesel (The conversion depends on the configuration and specification of the appliance)
• Industries who are using Gas Generator
• Appliance with higher LPG consumption
• Appliance where individual connection is not possible
• Dryer
Benefit of using cylinder Bank
• Long lasting
• More safety features
• Optimum investment
• Maximum utilization of gas
• Product availability
Vaporizer
Natural vaporization of LPG is typically inadequate for commercial and
industrial needs.
Larger LPG consuming equipment often requires more vapor than natural
vaporization can provide. An alternate solution to natural vaporization is
the addition of artificial heat by using a vaporizer.
Vaporizer system Vaporizer is one kind of boiler that does not build pressure, but provide protection
against the refrigeration affect that causes frosting and loss of pressure. LPG enters the vaporizer as a liquid and exits as a gas. Vaporizers are an integral component in a variety of LPG systems, and are suitable for any number of applications.
Who need vaporizer? Industries who need Liquid Gas
Industries who do not have enough space to set up LPG cylinder Bank
Industries who have high LPG consumption
Consumers who have problems of cylinder sweating
Different Size of Vaporizer 40 kg/hr 50 kg/hr 80 kg/hr 100 kg/hr 150 kg/hr 200 kg/hr 300 kg/hr 450 kg/hr
These vaporizers can be connected either with cylinder bank or with LPG storage tank (both above ground or under ground) or inside any cabinet or container
Autogas
When LPG is used in any motor vehicle instead of traditional fuel like Petrol or Octane then this fuel is called Autogas.
This fuel is stored in a vehicle in a special Tank
The Autogas car needs a conversion in its engine with the special Autogas kits
Autogas Stations in Bangladesh
Govt. of Bangladesh approved the use of LPG for vehicle use in 2001.
First Refueling site was commissioned in 2005.
There are 10 Autogas Stations in Bangladesh at the moment.
