What is BlueEyesTechnology?

It aims at creating systems that have perceptual andsense abilities like those of human beings.

The basic idea behind this technology is to givecomputer human power.

For example: we can understand humans emotionalstate by his facial expressions and movements. If weadd the same to computers, we would enable them towork together with human beings as intimate partners.

As the idea to monitor and record operatorsbasic physiological parameters, the mostimportant activity is the movement of eyes.

For a computer to sense the eye movement,wiring between operator and the system is

required. But, this is a serious limitation of theoperators mobility and disables his operationsin large control rooms.

So utilization of wireless technology becomesessential which can be implemented throughblue tooth technology.

It has the ability to gather information about you andinteract with you through special techniques like facialrecognition, speech recognition, etc.

It can even understand your emotions at the touch of the

The machine can understand what a user wants, where heis looking at, and even realize his physical or emotionalstates.

How can we give computer thehuman power?It uses most modern video cameras and microphones toidentify the users actions It checks the physiological parameters against abnormaland undesirable values and triggers user-defined alarmswhen necessary.

Blue eyes technology requires designing a personal areanetwork linking all the operators and the supervising system.The use of a miniature CMOS camera integrated into theeye movement sensor will enable the system to calculatethe point of gaze and observe what the operator is actually

looking at. Introducing voice recognition algorithm will facilitate thecommunication between the operator and the centralsystem and simplify authorization process.

STRUCTURE:

Blue eyes system consists of a mobilemeasuring device called Data AcquisitionUnit (DAU) and a

central analytical system called Central

System Unit (CSU).

DATA ACQUISITION UNIT:It maintains Bluetooth connections.

Gets information from the sensor. Sends information over the wireless connection. Delivers the alarm messages sent from the Central System Unit(CSU) to the operator. Handles personalized ID cards.

Jazz Multisensor: Its an eye movement sensor, to provide necessaryphysiological data in Data Acquisition Unit (DAU).

It supplies raw digital data regarding eye position, the levelof blood oxygenation acceleration along horizontal and verticalaxes and ambient light intensity.

Eye movement can be measured using direct infraredoculographic transducers.

Conclusion:The wireless link between the sensors worn by the operator andthe supervising system makes it possible to improve overallreliability, safety and assures proper quality of systemperformance.

These new possibilities can cover areas such as industry,transportation, military command centers or operation theaters.

Researchers are attempting to add more capabilities tocomputers that will allow them to interact like humans,

recognize human presents, talk, listen, or even guess theirfeelings.

It avoids potential threats resulting from human errors, such asweariness, oversight, tiredness.
