Bluetooth® Headphones

Introduction

We congratulate you on the purchase of your new device. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important informa-

tion concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instruc-tions for use. Only use the unit as described and for the specified ap-plications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended use

These Bluetooth headphones, a consumer electronic, are intended to render audio transmitted from a smartphone, computer, or similar playback devices via Bluetooth connection. The Bluetooth headphones are also suitable as a hands-free device for mobiles; the mobile or the computer must support Bluetooth® 4.0 standard to do so. The buttons built into the headphones allows you to select the piece of music from the playlist selected on the playback device. They are fur-ther used to adjust the volume of the headphones. The Bluetooth headphones may be paired with two different devices (e.g. mobile and computer) at the same time to e.g. use both the tele-phone features of the mobile and the audio features of the computer. The built-in rechargeable battery allows for cordless operation. This product was designed for personal use. It must not be used for commercial purposes. Any other use is consid-ered improper. Any claims resulting from improper use or due to unau-

thorised modification of the headphones will be considered unwarranted. Any such use is at your own risk.

the packaging material. The packaging material poses a suffoca-tion hazard. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. The packaging material is not a toy.

This device may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are su-pervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision. These headphones are not a toy.

RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by

the user. The rechargeable battery cannot be replaced. Keep the product away from moisture, dripping and splash water! Do not place burning candles or other open fire on or next to the

speaker. Check the product before every use! Discontinue use if any

damage to the device or the charging cable is detected! If you notice smoke or unusual noise or odour, switch the speaker

off immediately and remove the USB cable. Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the

device. In this case, allow the device to acclimate for some time before using it again to prevent short circuits!

Do not operate the product near heat sources, e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat!

Do not throw the headphones into fire and do not expose to high temperatures.

DANGER Do not try to open the device! It has no internal parts requiring

maintenance.

DANGER Switch the device off on airplanes, in hospitals, service rooms, or near medical electronic systems. The wireless signals transmitted could im-pact the functionality of sensitive electronics. Keep the device at least 20 cm from pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, as the electromagnetic radiation may impair the functionality of pacemak-ers. The radio waves transmitted could cause interference in hearing aids. Do not place the device near flammable gasses or potentially ex-plosives areas (e.g. paint shops) with the wireless components on, as the radio waves emitted can cause explosions and fire. The range of

the radio waves varies by environmental conditions. In the event of wireless data transmission, unauthorised third parties receiving the data cannot be excluded. The OWIM GmbH & Co KG is not responsi-ble for interference with radios or televisions due to unauthorised mod-ification of the device. The OWIM GmbH & Co KG further assumes no liability for using or replacing cables and devices not distributed by OWIM. The user of the device is fully responsible for correcting inter-ference caused by such unauthorised modification of the device, as well as replacement of such devices.

Remember that excessive sound pressure or volumes from headphones or earphones can lead to damage to the hearing. Always adjust the volume to a pleasant,

not too loud level. If you have adjusted the volume of the head-phones to be too high and use that for an extended period, it can damage the listener’s hearing.

Warnings regarding the built-in rechargeable battery

CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD!

DANGER!The headphones have a built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery. Improper handling of rechargeable lithium polymer batteries may re-sult in fire and explosion. Furthermore, hazardous substances may leak from the rechargeable battery.

Do not throw the device into fire. Only use the device in a dry environment!

Do not operate the device outside the operating conditions specified under „Technical Data“!

Risk of damage to the rechargeable battery Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures which may affect

rechargeable batteries, e.g. on heaters or in direct sunlight! Do not cover the device during use or charging! Only charge the battery in a dry environment, as the device is not

splash-proof. A chemical released by a leaking battery may irritate the skin. If

the chemical comes into contact with the skin, rinse the skin with plenty of water. If the chemicals come into contact with the eyes, rinse eyes with plenty of water, do not rub eyes, and seek medical attention. Be very careful when handling damaged or leaking batteries. Risk of injury! Wear gloves!

Before use

Before use, verify the package contents are complete and undam-aged!

Charging the battery

The battery must be charged prior to first use. The LED 5 will flash red when the battery is drained. The battery

should then be charged as soon as possible. Plug the micro-USB plug 12 on the charging cable into the micro-

USB socket 11 on the headphones! Plug the USB plug 13 on the charging cable into the USB port on a PC or a USB adapter.

Note: The LED will flash red and blue whilst charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED will remain blue.

Once charging has completed, remove the micro-USB plug from the headphones.

Using the headphones

Connect the headphones with a communication device. Place the headphones near a switched on communication device

(e.g. mobile or computer). Pairing with a new Bluetooth® device: Hold the button 8

for approx. 6 seconds until the LED 5 flashes red and blue and you hear two beeps. This indicates the headphones are now in pairing mode, which remains active for 5 minutes. The device will switch off if it does not detect a Bluetooth® device to connect to and sound 4 beeps.

Now connect your communication device (mobile phone or com-puter) via Bluetooth® with the headphones. Please refer to the notes in the instructions for your communication device. Select the entry „HG00593“ from the list of devices detected by your com-puter or mobile. If prompted, enter code „0000“ to establish the connection.

Once the connection has been established, the LED will briefly flash twice every 4 seconds.

If you want to connect a another device to the headphones, re-peat the pairing as described previously.

Please note, your communication device must support Bluetooth® Standard 4.0 to use all options.

If you come into range of the paired device with the headphones switched on, a Bluetooth® connection will automatically be established.

You may need to approve the connection on the communication device. Please refer to the instructions for use of the communica-tion device on this topic!

If you leave the range of your communication device with your Bluetooth headphones, the LED will flash red every 2 seconds. If the connection is not restored within 5 minutes, the headphones will switch off.

The headphones may be manually switched off by holding the button for 3 seconds until a beep sounds and the LED goes

out.

Connecting the headphones to a second Bluetooth® device

The headphones may be connected to two Bluetooth® communication devices at the same time. If the headphones are already connected to a device, follow the steps below to connect to the second device:

Activate multipoint mode by briefly pressing the button 8 in pairing mode until four beeps sound.

Now connect to the second device; please note the above chapter „Using the headphones“.

To deactivate multipoint mode: disable the Bluetooth® connection on the communication device you wish to remove from multipoint link. If necessary for your purposes, then extend the functions of the Bluetooth® transmission of the communication device still connected.

Clearing paired devices

Once the headphones have been connected to a communication device, your computer or mobile will save the connection. If necessary (e.g. due to purchasing a new device), this list can be deleted (please refer to the instructions for use of the communication device on this topic).

Putting on the headphones

The headphones can be adjusted to your head size, if necessary: the speakers 2 are secured to the band 3 with a metal rail for this purpose. Adjust these to ensure optimal comfort.Please note the marking „L“ (= left) and „R“ (= right) on the inside of the band immediately above the speakers. Put on the headphones so the control panel 1 is on the right.

Headphones button functions for music playback

Start a playlist on your playback device. Set the volume on the playback device to Maximum. You can adjust the headphones volume with the control unit 1 . Music is played back through the speakers 2 .

The control panel has 5 buttons. These control the following functions:

You may also use the headphones for telephone calls when used with a communication device which supports this function. If your communi-cation device supports the Bluetooth® standard 4.0, you will be able to use the following functions:

Disposal

Disposing of the deviceThe adjacent symbol of a crossed out dustbin on wheels in-dicates this device is subject to Directive 2012 / 19 / EU. This directive states at the end of the life this device must not

be disposed of through regular household refuse but must be returned to special collection sites, recycling depots or waste management com-panies.

The built-in rechargeable battery cannot be removed for disposal.

This disposal is free of charge to you. Protect the environment and dispose properly.

Ne jetez pas l‘appareil au feu. Utilisez l‘appareil uniquement dans un environnement sec ! N‘utilisez pas l‘appareil en dehors des conditions d‘exploitation

Risque d‘endommagement de la batterie Évitez les conditions et les températures extrêmes pouvant influer

Avant la mise en service

Vérifiez l‘intégralité du contenu de la boîte avant la mise en service !

Chargement de la batterie

Veillez à charger complètement la batterie avant la première utilisation.

Lorsque la batterie est vide, la DEL 5 clignote en rouge. Vous devez alors recharger la batterie dès que possible.

Branchez le connecteur micro USB 12 du câble de charge dans le connecteur micro USB 11 du casque ! Branchez le connecteur USB 13 du câble de charge dans le port USB du PC ou dans une unité d‘alimentation USB. Remarque : la DEL clignote en rouge et bleu pendant la charge. Une fois la batterie complètement chargée, la DEL devient bleu.

Lorsque la charge est terminée, retirez le connecteur micro-USB du casque.

Utilisation du casque

Branchez le casque avec un dispositif de communication. Approchez le casque près d‘un autre appareil de communication

connecté (p.ex. un téléphone mobile ou un ordinateur). Connexion avec un nouveau dispositif Bluetooth® : maintenez la

touche 8 enfoncée pendant environ 6 secondes jusqu‘à ce que la LED 5 s‘allume alternativement en rouge et bleu et émet deux bips. Cela indique que le casque est désormais en mode d‘appairage pendant 5 minutes. Quatre signals sonores indiquent

que le dispositif s‘éteint car aucun périphérique Bluetooth® n‘est détecté.

Branchez désormais votre dispositif de communication (téléphone mobile ou ordinateur) sur votre casque par Bluetooth®. Veuillez vous référer aux instructions dans le manuel de vos dispositifs de communication. Choisissez dans la liste des dispositifs détectés par votre ordinateur ou téléphone mobile, l‘entrée „HG00593“. Si un code est demandé, entrez „0000“ pour terminer la connexion.

Si la connexion s‘est faite correctement, la DEL clignote briève-ment deux fois en bleu toutes les 4 secondes.

Si vous voulez connecter un autre appareil au casque, répétez le mode d‘appairage comme décrit précédemment.

Vérifiez que votre dispositif prenne en charge la norme Bluetooth® 4.0 afin de pouvoir utiliser toutes les options.

Lorsque, avec votre casque allumé, vous êtes à portée du partenaire d‘appairage, la connexion Bluetooth® s‘établie automatiquement.

Il est possible que vous deviez autoriser la connexion de votre ap-pareil. Veuillez vous référer au mode d‘emploi de vos dispositifs de communication !

Lorsque, avec votre casque, vous quittez la portée du dispositif, la DEL clignote en rouge pendant 2 secondes. Si aucune autre connexion n‘est rétablie dans les 5 minutes, le casque s‘éteint.

Pour éteindre le casque manuellement, restez appuyer sur le bou-ton pendant 3 secondes jusqu‘à ce que vous entendiez un bip et que la DEL s‘éteigne.

Connexion du casque avec un deuxième appareil Bluetooth®

Vous pouvez connecter simultanément un casque à deux dispositifs de communication Bluetooth®. Si vous avez déjà connecté un appareil à votre casque, procédez comme décrit ci-dessous pour connecter le second :

Lorsque vous êtes en mode d‘appairage, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton 8 jusqu‘à ce que 4 bips retentissent pour activer le mode multiple.

Effectuez désormais la connexion sur votre second appareil ; veuil-lez vous reporter également au chapitre précédent „Utilisation du casque“.

Désactivez le mode multiple comme suit : coupez la connexion Bluetooth® du dispositif de communication que vous souhaitez enlever de l‘utilisation multiple. Si nécessaire à vos besoins, vous pouvez étendre les fonctionnalités de la transmission Bluetooth® du dispositif de communication restant.

Effacer la liste de connexion

Le casque enregistrera la connexion sur votre ordinateur ou téléphone mobile, une fois connecté à un dispositif de communication. Si néces-saire (p.ex. en raison d‘une nouvelle acquisition), vous pouvez effacer la liste (veuillez vous référer au mode d‘emploi de vos dispositifs de communication).

Mettre le casque

Vous pouvez également ajuster la taille du casque : les haut-parleurs 2 y sont fixés au moyen d‘une barre métallique dans l‘arceau 3 . Assu-rez-vous un port extrêmement confortable.Respectez le marquage „L“ (= gauche) et „R“ (= droit) à l‘intérieur de l‘arceau, inscrit immédiatement au-dessus des haut-parleurs. Portez le casque de telle sorte que le panneau de commande 1 soit situé sur le côté droit.

Principales fonctions du casque pour la lecture de la musique

Démarrez la playlist sur le lecteur. Réglez le volume du lecteur au maximum. Vous pouvez régler le volume du casque sur l‘unité de commande 1 Les haut-parleurs 2 vous permettront d‘écouter votre musique.

Bluetooth®-hoofdtelefoon

Inleiding

Gefeliciteerd met de koop van uw nieuwe apparaat. U heeft voor een hoogwaardig product gekozen. De gebruiks-aanwijzing is een deel van het product. Deze bevat belang-

rijke aanwijzingen voor veiligheid, gebruik en verwijdering. Maakt U zich voor de ingebruikname van het product met alle bedienings- en veiligheidsvoorschriften vertrouwd. Gebruik het apparaat alleen zoals beschreven en voor de aangegeven toepassingsgebieden. Overhan-dig alle documenten bij doorgifte van het product aan derden.

Correct gebruik

Deze Bluetooth-koptelefoon, een geluidsdrager op het gebied van de amusementselektronica, is bedoeld voor het afspelen van audiomateriaal, dat door middel van een bluetooth-verbinding vanaf een smartphone, computer of ander geschikt apparaat verzonden is. De Bluetooth-kop-telefoon is ook geschikt als handsfreekit voor mobiele telefoons, hierbij dient de telefoon of de computer wel Bluetooth® 4.0 standaard te ondersteunen. De geïntegreerde toetsen in de koptelefoon maken de keuze van een nummer op de afspeellijst, die op het afspeelapparaat gekozen werd, mogelijk. Bovendien kunt u het volume op de koptelefoon instellen. U kunt de Bluetooth-koptelefoon tegelijkertijd aan twee verschillende apparaten (bijv. mobiele telefoon en computer) koppelen om zo de telefooneigenschappen van de mobiele telefoon en de audioeigen-schappen van de computer tegelijkertijd te gebruiken. De ingebouwde batterij maakt gebruik zonder stroomvoorziening mogelijk.

Gooi de luidspreker niet in het vuur en stel hem niet bloot aan hoge temperaturen.

GEVAAR Probeer het product niet te openen! Het bevat geen onderdelen

die onderhouden moeten worden.

GEVAAR Schakel het apparaat uit in vliegtuigen, ziekenhuizen, technische ruimtes of in de omgeving van medische, elektronische systemen. De radiosignalen kunnen de werking van gevoelige elektronische appara-ten beïnvloeden. Houd het apparaat minstens 20 cm bij pacemakers en geïmplanteerde cardioverter-defibrillators vandaan, omdat de werking van pacemakers door elektromagnetische straling kan worden beïnvloed. GEVAAR!De koptelefoon beschikt over een ingebouwde lithium-polymeren bat-terij. Onjuist gebruik van deze lithium-polymeren batterij kan brand of explosie veroorzaken. Bovendien kunnen er gevaarlijke substanties uit de batterij komen.

Gooi het product niet in het vuur. Gebruik het product alleen in een droge omgeving! Gebruik het product niet buiten de functievoorwaarden om, welke

onder ‚Technische gegevens‘ zijn aangegeven!

Kans op beschadiging van de batterij Vermijd extreme omstandigheden en temperaturen, die de batterij

kunnen beïnvloeden, bijv. opslag op verwarmingen of bij direct zonlicht!

Bedek het product niet, wanneer u het gebruikt of oplaadt! De batterij mag alleen in een droge omgeving opgeladen

worden, omdat het product niet tegen spatwater beschermd is.

Chemicaliën die uit een lekkende batterij lopen, kunnen een irrite-rende werking op de huid hebben. Als de chemicaliën met de huid in aanraking komen, de huid met veel water spoelen. Als de chemicaliën met de ogen in aanraking komen, dient u de ogen met veel water uit te spoelen, niet in uw ogen te wrijven en een arts te roepen. Wees voorzichtig als u omgaat met beschadigde of lekkende batterijen. Kans op letsel! Draag handschoenen!

Voor de ingebruikname

Controleer voor ingebruikname de volledigheid en onbeschadigde toestand van de inhoud van de verpakking!

Batterij opladen

Voor de eerste ingebruikname dient de batterij opgeladen te worden.

Als de batterij leeg is, gaat het rode LED-lampje 5 branden. U dient de batterij dan zo spoedig mogelijk op te laden.

Steek de micro-USB-stekker 12 van de laadkabel in de micro- USB-aansluiting 11 van de koptelefoon! Steek de USB-stekker 13 van de laadkabel in de USB-poort van een laptop of in een andere USB-poort. Opmerking: het LED-lampje knippert tijdens het opladen in de kleuren rood en blauw. Zodra de batterij volledig opgeladen is, brandt het LED-lampje alleen nog maar blauw.

Zodra het opladen voltooid is, kunt u de micro-USB-stekker uit de koptelefoon trekken.

Koptelefoon gebruiken

Verbind de koptelefoon met een communicatieapparaat. Breng de koptelefoon in de buurt van een ingeschakeld communi-

catieapparaat (bijv. mobiele telefoon of computer). Verbinding met een nieuw Bluetooth®-apparaat: houd de

knop 8 ongeveer 6 seconden ingedrukt, totdat LED-lampje 5 afwisselend rood en blauw brandt en er twee signaaltonen klin-ken. Dit wil zeggen dat de koptelefoon nu in de pairing-modus staat, welke 5 minuten duurt. Het apparaat zal zichzelf uitschake-len als er geen Bluetooth® partner gevonden wordt. Hierbij klinken 4 signaaltonen.

Verbind het communicatieapparaat (mobiele telefoon op compu-ter) nu door middel van Bluetooth® met de koptelefoon. Neem hierbij de aanwijzingen in de handleiding van uw communicatie-apparaat in acht. Kies uit de lijst van apparaten, die door uw com-puter of mobiele telefoon gevonden zijn, het apparaat met code ‚HG00593‘. Voer de code ‚0000‘ in, indien er om een code gevraagd wordt om de verbinding tot stand te brengen.

Nadat de verbinding succesvol tot stand gekomen is, knippert het LED-lampje om de 4 seconden twee maal kort achter elkaar blauw.

Indien u een ander apparaat met de koptelefoon wilt verbinden, herhaalt u het pairing zoals in voorgaande beschreven.

Houd er rekening mee dat uw communicatieapparaat Bluetooth®- standaard 4.0 moet ondersteunen, zodat u over alle opties kunt beschikken.

Als u met uw ingeschakelde koptelefoon in de reikwijdte van een pairing-partner komt, zal de Bluetooth®-verbinding automatisch tot stand komen.

Het kan gebeuren dat u op uw communicatiemiddel de verbinding moet autoriseren. Neem hierbij de aanwijzingen in de handleiding van uw communicatiemiddel in acht.

Als u met uw Bluetooth®-koptelefoon de reikwijdte van uw com-municatiemiddel verlaat, knippert het LED-lampje om de 2 secon-den rood. Als de verbinding niet binnen 5 minuten opnieuw tot stand gebracht kan worden, schakelt de koptelefoon zich uit.

U kunt de koptelefoon handmatig uitschakelen, door de knop 3 seconden ingedrukt te houden, totdat er een signaaltoon klinkt en het LED-lampje dooft.

Koptelefoon met een tweede Bluetooth®-apparaat verbinden

U kunt de koptelefoon tegelijkertijd met twee geschikte Bluetooth®- apparaten verbinden. Als u uw koptelefoon al met één apparaat ver-bonden heeft, gaat u om een tweede apparaat te verbinden als volgt te werk:

Activeer de modus ‚meervoudige verbinding‘, door in de pairing- modus kort op de knop 8 te drukken, totdat er vier signaal-tonen klinken.

Maak nu verbinding met uw tweede apparaat, en volg daarbij de instructies van het vorige hoofdstuk ‚Koptelefoon gebruiken‘.

U kunt de modus ‚meervoudige verbinding‘ als volgt verbreken: schakel bij het communicatiemiddel, dat u niet meer wilt verbin-den, de Bluetooth®-verbinding uit. Breid indien nodig daarna de functieomvang van de Bluetooth®-overdracht van het overblijvende communicatiemiddel uit.

Verbindingenlijst verwijderen

Zodra de koptelefoon met een communicatiemiddel verbonden is, zal de verbinding in uw computer of mobiele telefoon worden opgesla-gen. Indien nodig (bijv. bij aankoop van een nieuw apparaat) kunt u de lijst verwijderen (zie hiervoor de gebruikershandleiding van uw communicatiemiddel).

Koptelefoon opzetten

U kunt de koptelefoon indien nodig aan de grootte van uw hoofd aan-passen: de luidsprekers 2 zijn hiervoor met behulp van een metalen rail in een beugel 3 bevestigd. Plaats de koptelefoon op een manier, die een optimaal draagcomfort garandeert.Let op de aanduidingen L (= links) en R (= rechts) aan de binnenzijde van de beugel, direct boven de luidspreker. Zet de koptelefoon zo op uw hoofd, dat het bedieningspaneel 1 zich aan de rechterzijde bevindt.

Functies van de knoppen op uw koptelefoon tijdens afspelen van muziek

Start een playlist op het afspeelapparaat. Zet het geluidsvolume op het afspeelapparaat op maximaal. Het volume van de koptele-foon kunt u via het bedieningspaneel 1 regelen. De muziek is via de koptelefoon 2 te beluisteren.

Op het bedieningspaneel bevinden zich 5 knoppen. Deze knoppen hebben de volgende functies:

Reiniging

ATTENTIEMogelijke beschadiging van het apparaat! Schakel het apparaat uit en verwijder alle stekkers, voordat u het

reinigt! Verzeker u ervan dat er tijdens de reiniging geen vocht binnen-

dringt, om hiermee een beschadiging van het apparaat en een daaruit voortvloeiende reparatie te vermijden.

Reinig het apparaat alleen met een licht vochtige doek en een mild schoonmaakmiddel!

Bewaren

Bewaar het product in een droge omgeving, zodat het niet blootgesteld wordt aan stof en direct zonlicht.

verbinding beschikken.

Geen geluid Volume op de koptelefoon staat op minimaal. Volume verhogen door indrukken en vasthouden van +-knop 4 . Fout bij bediening van het communicatiemiddel. Volume op het afspeelapparaat verhogen. Bluetooth®-verbinding is verstoord. Verklein de afstand tot de apparaten, die over de Bluetooth®-

verbinding beschikken. Verbreek de Bluetooth®-verbinding en start deze opnieuw op.

Niet alle functies zijn beschikbaar Fout van het communicatiemiddel. Controleer of uw communicatiemiddel alle functies ondersteunen kan.

Afvoeren

Apparaat afvoerenHet hiernaast afgebeelde symbool van een doorgestreepte vuilnisbak op wieltjes geeft aan, dat dit apparaat onderhe-vig is aan de richtlijn 2012 / 19 / EG. Deze richtlijn houdt

De ingebouwde accu kan voor de afvoer niet uitgebouwd worden.

Deze afvoer is voor u gratis. Ontzie het milieu en voer producten op een vakkundige manier af.

Verpakking afvoerenDe verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportbeschadigin-gen. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn op milieuvriendelijke en afvoer-technische oogpunten geselecteerd en zijn zodoende recyclebaar.
