The Blue Day Book

Page 2: Blueday

Everybody has blue days.

Page 3: Blueday

These are miserable days when you feel lousy,

Page 4: Blueday

grumpy,

Page 5: Blueday

lonely,

Page 6: Blueday

and utterly exhausted.

Page 7: Blueday

Just getting started seems impossible.

Page 8: Blueday

On blue days you can become paranoid

that everyone is out to get you.

(This is not always such a bad thing.)

Page 9: Blueday

You feel frustrated and anxious,

Page 10: Blueday

which can induce a nail-biting frenzy

Page 11: Blueday

that can escalate into a

triple-chocolate-mud-cake-eating

frenzy in a blink of an eye!

Page 12: Blueday

So how can you find that blissful "just sliding

into a hot bubble bath" kind of feeling?

Page 13: Blueday

It's easy.

Page 14: Blueday

First, stop slinking away from all those nagging issues.

It's time to face the music

Page 15: Blueday

Now, just relax. Take some deep breaths.

(in through the nose and out through the mouth) Try to meditate if you can.

Page 16: Blueday

Or go for a walk to clear your head.

Page 17: Blueday

Accept the fact that you'll have to let

go of some emotional baggage.

Page 18: Blueday

Try seeing things from a different perspective.

Page 19: Blueday

Maybe you’re actually the one at fault. If that's the case, be big enough to say you're sorry.

(it's never too late to do this.)

Page 20: Blueday

If someone else is doing the wrong thing, stand up tall and

say, "That's not right and I won't stand for it!"

It's okay to be forceful.

Page 21: Blueday

(It's rarely okay to blow raspberries.)

Page 22: Blueday

Be proud of who you are,

Page 23: Blueday

but don't lose the ability to laugh at yourself.

Page 24: Blueday

(this is a lot easier when you associate with positive people.)

Page 25: Blueday

Live every day as if it were your last, because one day it will be.

Page 26: Blueday

Don't be afraid to bite off more than you can chew.

Page 27: Blueday

Take big risks.

Page 28: Blueday

Never hang back. Get out there and go for it.

Page 29: Blueday

After all, isn't that what life is all about?

Page 30: Blueday

I think so too.
