Almost time for the Two-Color Quilt Challenge!
For all of you stitching away, or thinking of stitching, on your
2019 BVQG Challenge – Two Color Quilts,
it’s almost time for the big reveal during the December Holiday Party!
To review:
• 2 colors only, shades of the same color are fine.
• Minimum size: 24” x 24”
• Has to be a quilt, not a bag.
• Backing fabric can be anything, does not have to be 2 color or one of the colors on the top.
• No hanging sleeve required.
• Please put a small label with your name (can be safety pinned) on the back, then pin another piece of fabric
over that label to keep your identity under wraps. Or, put on a label and when you turn it in, we will pin
a piece of fabric over the top.
We will be collecting the quilts in the foyer of the sanctuary. Go through our regular meeting
room, towards the sanctuary, and we will have tables set up. We will arrange the quilts on the
pews, and then during the meeting everyone will go in and view all the quilts, then vote on
their top 3 choices. Later in the meeting the top three quilts will be announced, and the
winners will receive PRIZES!
Good luck everyone and enjoy your stitching!
