EMV debit cards coming soon!We are excited to announce the upcoming release of our EMV chip-enabled debit cards starting July 2016. These new cards will be issued to all our debit card users and will provide extra fraud protection when making purchases at retailers. Our EMV debit card reissue will begin July 2016 and last through the end of August 2016. Blue is committed to assisting members with questions or concerns as quickly as possible, which is why we have elected to mail our debit cards in a series of “waves” throughout the summer. This will create less wait time for members in branches and over the phone so that we may better assist you with your needs. Members with upcoming expiration dates on their current debit cards will be issued their new EMV debit card prior to their card expiring.

As always, Blue will communicate accordingly with each of our members prior to receiving your new debit card. We encourage you to take this

time to update your email and mailing address to ensure you receive the most up to date communication and your new EMV chip-enabled debit card. While we have done our best to minimize impact for all members, certain members’ card numbers and PIN numbers will change. If you have any automatic payments attached to your debit card (such as Netflix), you will need to update your card information after you receive your new EMV debit card. The following members will be impacted with this change:

• Members with a “Wyoming Proud” debit card issued from Warren FCU

• Members with a “CSU” or “Aggies” debit card issued from Warren FCU

• ALL former Community Financial Credit Union members with a debit card

Please visit www.bluefcu.com/emv to view important details regarding your new EMV debit card. If you have additional concerns, please contact one of our financial experts at any branch location or by calling 1-800-368-9328.

Blue on F.E. Warren AFBBlue Federal Credit Union, formerly Warren Federal Credit Union, is proud to have served the communities of Wyoming and Northern Colorado for 65 years. The Credit Union was established in 1951 by civilian personnel on F.E. Warren Air Force Base (Warren AFB) in Cheyenne, to later include all military and dependents of the armed forces. They have since grown to serve the communities of Laramie, Wellington, and Fort Collins as well over 900 Select Employee Groups. The partnership with these groups as well as others has allowed us to grow exponentially across the world over our 65 years in business. We are proud to provide services to our members in countries all over the world with online and mobile banking for our members as they depart from Warren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyoming. The history with Warren AFB continues as we join them in supporting many events held on and off the Base. A few of the events we sponsor yearly and participate in include the Youth Events held on Base years (90 FSS/FSK MWR Fund). A couple of these events are the Outdoor Recreations Open House, Youth Sports Banquets, Golf Course Championship, Trick or Treat-off the Street, Frontiercade, and Base Tree Lighting. Blue Federal Credit Union continues to be the lead organizer and supporter in many events in Cheyenne such as the American Veteran’s Traveling Tribute (AVTT) by being the main sponsor and volunteering thousands of hours alongside our retired and current military, veterans, and residents of Cheyenne. We support the Airmen’s Pantry, Honorary Commander Program, WANG events and sponsoring the Soldier and Airmen of the Year Annual Banquet. We sponsor a table at the Armed Forces Day held in May where we honor service men and women who have pledged to protect Americans serving in 150 Countries/Nations as our American Warriors in Action.

We are active with the Cheyenne VA Center and banded together with 50+ employee to restore the Rose Garden and the Center. We have the opportunity to meet and assist young airmen every other Monday and provide financial education on various levels, including purchasing a vehicle. We are pleased to help our families who have a member who is deployed by offering them the opportunity to pack a box to send overseas to their loved ones. Materials and mailing cost are provided by the Credit Union on our Base Branch. It is exciting to see the children decide what they are going to choose to place in their special box. Over the last year we mailed in excess of 120 boxes. Golf anyone? We continue to honor the Base and support the facilities offered to the citizens of Cheyenne with our annual Blue Federal Credit Union Foundation Golf Tournament. Once a year, we along with 174 people from Cheyenne and across the United States play golf and have a lot of fun at the F.E. Warren Golf Course on Base. All proceeds from the tournament are donated to United Way to continue our support to our members who have made us who we are today.Blue Federal Credit Union is honored to be the Credit Union on F.E. Warren AFB and will continue to thank all those that serve. It is because of our military forces that this nation is better off and can sleep peacefully knowing that we have millions serving across the lands and oceans to protect our great nation. Thank you Military Blue!
