this may seem lacking in variation, it will reinforce the image of

Blue Planet in the audiences mind, the creature used and

colour scheme will now be associated with Blue Planet.

The DVD cover like the other products uses a white font

complimenting the sunshine's reflection off the water’s surface

within the poster. Complimenting also the ‘DVD’ and ‘BBC

DVD’ symbol located below right and above left as the other

products (minus the poster) locate them similarly.

Carries on the theme of blue and also features a sea creature,

naturalistic element as the other products do.

The poster contains many shades of the colour blue to make it

more appealing to the eye and give it variation. The other

products similarly do this. The variation in shades could

connote the many levels, narratives and featured creatures in

the documentary.
