remain from preliminary audit, neither the student nor the department will be contacted. If deficiencies have changed, new statements will be sent to the student and the department/school).

August 16 Summer Session 2018 grades available on My.IllinoisState.edu at 2 p.m. August 16/17 Graduate Student/UTA Safety Orientations. See attached Schedule.

DATES AND DEADLINES CONTINUED August 19 Last day to withdraw from the University and receive a full adjustment of charges.

Financial aid will be reduced. August 20 Fall 2018 semester begins. August 24 Last day for graduate students planning to receive a graduate degree in December to

submit a degree audit and file an application for completion of degree. August 25-31 My.IllinoisState.edu open for all course drops and departmentally approved adds

(closed course overrides required). August 27 Proposal approval form (grad school) deadline for December graduates. August 31 Tenth day of the semester. August 31 Last day to drop a course with no withdrawal grade assigned and a full adjustment of

charges. Financial aid may be reduced. Last day to put a course on pass/fail or audit. September 3 Labor Day observed. University closed.

Alumni News

(G)Ruoshi Li (MS 2013 with Lash) successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Connecticut. He starts work at the international pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim later this month.
