Bulk bins require a minimum flow rate 6500L/h per bin for 250kg of mussels to keep minimum oxygen levels, that is above 5 mg/L ... to keep oxygen > 5mg/L or 50%

But pumping water is expensive,
as it consumes energy and increases the carbon footprint…
