Synthesis

Pupils research a food of their choice and find out where it comes from and how many food miles it has travelled. They will also need to find out what it is in French and the name of the country it comes from in French. They could bring an example of the packaging it comes from and make a short presentation e.g.

Voilà un paquet d’haricots verts. Ils viennent de Kenya en Afrique. Ils ont un total de ‘6800 kilomètres de nourriture’.
