Note From a Recent FSS Graduate: “To anyone on the FSS program who is hoping for a bright future I want to encourage you to maintain focus noma er how hard life may seem. I am happy to say that in 2008 I was a single divorced woman hoping for abe er future. While on FSS, I stuck with my employers and nished my AS degree and also earned my cer cateas a dental assistant. I plan to nish my BS and use the funds from my escrow account to either pay on studentloans or as a down payment to buy a home. I would never be where I am today if I wasn’t on the FSS programand also the support I was given from the BHA.”

    Spellbound by Emily Brontë

The night is darkening round me, The wild winds coldly blow; But a tyrant spell has bound me And I cannot, cannot go.

The giant trees are bending Their bare boughs weighed with snow. And the storm is fast descending, And yet I cannot go.

Clouds beyond clouds above me, Wastes beyond wastes below; But nothing drear can move me; I will not, cannot go.
