GIDC is celebrating 50 years..!!• GIDC is organizing a Blood Donation Drive in all the major estates of GIDC and also in all the

offices all over Gujarat as a part of Golden Jubilee Celebration.

• You must be aware about the humanitarian activities like voluntary blood donation, which we would like to promote through our Blood Donation Drive in all the estates and offices of GIDC.

• The Camp will be done in association with Indian Red Cross Society, Ahmedabad in view of

its reputation throughout the state.• Though Ahmedabad and Gujarat enjoy the first position in the field of Voluntary Blood

Donation, the activity has to continue to keep pace with the increasing need of blood. Also, the theme of our campaign would be “You can SAVE LIVES, Donate BLOOD”. By organizing drive we can extend various benefits of Red Cross to voluntary blood donors who do such a wonderful job for the society. It is a unique opportunity to render corporate social responsibility and win hearts of staff and society.

• The drive will be organized in about 180 estates having more than 30,000 units. There are

lakhs of employees and workers working in the Industrial Estate who will participate in the Blood Donation Drive. We expect to collect maximum units of Blood.

• The first camp will start on 1st December, 2011 at Udhyog Bhavan and will continue for the entire year till August 2012,covering 184 GIDC Estates.
