What's a blog?

A blog is a type of website or part of a website. Blogs are usually maintained by an

individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such

as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. A

typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media

related to its topic.

Most blogs are interactive, allowing visitors to leave comments and even message each other

via widgets on the blogs and it is this interactivity that distinguishes them from other static

websites.[2]

Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes

and sizes, and there are no real rules.

Instructions:

Create blog about any particular topic. (e.g. trip/vacation to certain place, describe any term in

chapter 2, any topic you like). Make sure that you include at least one image and one hyperlink.

Encourage a member of your family or friend to comment on your blog.

1. Create blogger account

Use your university email address when instructed

2. Name your blog

Give meaning full name (e.g my trip to USA, social networking

For blog address field provide your university ID (e.g. Uxxxxx)

3. Choose a template that you like

4. Start editing your blog. When finish preview and then save.

5. Submit the URL of your work to the black board
