Autobiography

• Blink-182 are a punk pop band forming in 1992 in Powey California. The band members consists of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker.

• Previous band member was Scott Raynor who was replaced by Travis Barker during the 1998 tour.

• The band formed in 1992 when Mark Hoppus reunited with his sister and told her to be in a band. Mark sister also knew Tom DeLonge who had been expelled from his previous school Poway High School.

• Both of them joined together and played in DeLonge garage for hours playing songs they had written.

• They decided that they really wanted to make a band so DeLonge ask his friend Scott Raynor to join the band.

• The started in August 1992 as the name Duck Tape until DeLonge changed the name to Blink,
