BILENE CLUB RESORTNewsletter
With Bilene Club Lodge having officially re-opened its doors on 05th September 2014 we would like to take this opportunity of thanking all those owners who have “hung in there”.
Here’s wishing you many happy holidays at Bilene Club Lodge!!!!
After months of uncertainty and frustration Leisure Options (Pty) Ltd has finally negotiated agreements with Barclays Bank, Maputo; the Developers and the Landowners.
The task of sourcing contractors to tender for the recommencement of building at the resort will begin in the new yearOur first task is to complete the units that are half built. This will take place during 2015 & 2016. The units in question are the 2 front houses no’s. 2 & 3 and Block 12. This will help accommo-date the fractional owners whose units have not been built as yet together with the owners in Unit 12 whom have chosen not to move to an alternative unit.
A maintenance program will also be put in place to start upgrading the existing units. With the replacement of certain appliances, softs such as bedding, linen etc. We will keep the owners updated with the progress and ask that although you have all shown considerable patience thus far to bear with us until we can get things right. Due to the non-collection of levies the coffers are a little dry so we request that all owners pay their levies timeously so that we can build up a reserve and start getting those units looking fabulous again. Any suggestions of what should be done first will be most welcome.
Please note that even if you do not occupy levies are still due and payable. With regards to space banking. Unfortunately, this is not an option at the moment. We will be negotiating with various exchange companies and hope to get one of them on-board during the 1st quarter of 2015. This will then enable you to become members of the exchange com-pany and space bank and exchange into alternative resorts through them. We are hoping with the improvements at your “home resort”, Bilene Club Lodge will be your favoured desti-nation. At the moment if you are unable to occupy your allocated time please let us know and we will see what alternative dates are available.
Rental Pool – we do not operate a rental pool. However, we do have a sister company “Dream Breaks” who will endeavour to let out your time should they have any enquiries. A commission will be charged. Please be advised that this service is not guaranteed.
