Amazing GraceKey of E(A capella)Amazing grace! how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!I once was lost but now am found; was blind but now I see.T’was grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed.Key ChangeThrough many dangers, toils, and snares, I have already come,‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home.Key ChangeWhen we’ve been the ten thousand years bright shining as the sun. We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise than when we first begun.

Calling My Children HomeA CappellaThose lives were mine to love and cherish. To guard and guide along life’s way.Oh God forbid that one should perish. That one alas should go astray.Back in the years with all together, Around the place we’d romp and play.So lonely now and oft’ times wonder, Oh will they come back home some day.

I’m lonesome for my precious children, They live so far away.Oh may they hear my calling...calling.. And come back home some day.

I gave my all for my dear children, Their problems still with love I share,I’d brave life’s storm, defy the tempest To bring them home from anywhere.I lived my life my love I gave them, To guide them through this world of strife,I hope and pray we’ll live together, In that great glad here after life.

I’m lonesome for my precious children, They live so far away.Oh may they hear my calling...calling.. And come back home some day.

I Saw The LightKey of G

I wandered so aimless, life filled with sin. I wouldn't let my dear Savior in.Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night. Praise The Lord, I saw the Light.

CHORUSI saw the Light, I saw the Light, No more darkness, No more night. Now I'm so happy, no sorrow in sight. Praise the Lord, I saw the Light.

Just like the blind man, I wandered along, Worries and fears, I claimed for my own. Then like the blind man, that God gave back his sight. Praise the Lord, I saw the Light.

CHORUS

I was a fool to wander and stray, For straight is the gate and narrow the way.Now I have traded, the wrong for the right. Praise the Lord, I saw the Light.

Palms of VictoryA CappellaI saw the wayward traveler, in tattered garments clad And struggling up the mountain, it seemed that he was sad His back was laden heavy, his strength was almost gone Yet he shouted as he traveled, "Deliverance will come!"

Chorus Then palms of victory, crowns of glory Palms of victory, I shall wear

I saw him in the evening, the sun was bending low He had overcome the mountain, and reached the vale below He saw the golden city, his everlasting home And shouted loud, "Hosanna! Deliverance will come!"

Chorus

While gazing on the city, just o'er the narrow flood A band of holy angels came from the throne of God They bore him on their pinions safe o'er the dashing foam And joined him in his triumph, "Deliverance has come!"

Chorus

It seems I hear the Angels, around the throne so grand, they’re shouting “Glad Hosanna”, we’ve reached the promiseland. When we have reached that city, our race on earth we’ve run,We’ll all shout loud, “ Hosanna! Deliverance has come!"

Mississippi Squirrel Revival

Well when I was a kid I would take a trip, Every summer down to "Mississipp," To visit my Granny and her antebellum world. I'd run barefooted all-day long, Climbing trees free as a song; One day I happened to catch myself a squirrel.Well I stuffed him down in an old shoe box, And punched a couple holes in the top; When Sunday came I snuck him in the Church.I was sittin' way back on the very last pew Showin' em' to my good buddy Hugh,When that squirrel got loose and went totally berserk.Well what happened next is hard to tell; Some thought it was Heaven others thought it was Hell,But the fact that something was among was plain to see.As the choir sang " I Surrender All", The squirrel ran up Harv Newman's coveralls, And Harv leaped to his feet and said something's got a hold on me!

ChorusThe day the squirrel went berserk In the First Self-Righteous Church In that sleepy little town of Pascagoula. It was a fight for survival That broke out in revival. They were jumpin' pews and shoutin' "Hallelujah".

Well Harv hit the aisles dancin' and screamin'.,Some thought he had religion others thought he had a demon, And Harv thought he had a weed-eater loose in his fruit-of-the-looms.He fell to his knees to plead and beg, And the squirrel ran out of his britches leg; Unobserved to the other side of the room. All the way down to the AMEN pew, Where sat Sister Bertha Better-than-You, Who had been watching all of the commotion with sophistic glee. But shoot, you should have seen the look in her eyes When that squirrel jumped her garters and crossed her thighs. And she jumped to her feet and said, "Lord have mercy on me."As that squirrel mad laps inside her dress She began to cry and then to confess, To sins that would make a sailor blush with shame. She told of gossip, and church dissention, But the thing that got the most attention Was when she talked about her love life and then she started naming names.

ChorusWell seven deacons and the pastor got saved, And twenty-five thousand dollars got raised, And fifty volunteered for missions in the Congo on the spot. And even without an invitation There were at least five hundred re-dedications, and we all got re-baptized whether we needed it or not. Now you've heard the Bible story I guess Of how He parted the waters for Moses to pass. Oh the Miracles God has wrought in this old world. But the one I'll remember till my dying day Is how He put that church back on the narrow wayWith a half crazed Mississippi squirrel.

Chorus (twice)

All God's Creatures Got a Place in the Choir

A Capella Key of GGAll God's creatures got a place in the choir,D GSome sing low, some sing higher;C GSome sing loud on the telephone wire, D GSome just clap their hands, their paws or anything they got now!

All God's creatures got a place in the choir,Some sing low, some sing higher; Some sing loud on the telephone wire,Some just clap their hands, their paws or anything they got now!

Listen to the top where the little birds singing,All the melodies and the high notes swinging; And the hoot owl cries over everything,And the blackbird disagrees.

Singing in the night time singing in the day,The little duck quacks and he's on his way;The otter hasn't got much to say,And the porcupine talks to himself.Chorus

The dogs and cats they take up the middle,Where the honey bee hums and the crickets fiddle,The donkey brays and the pony neighs,And the old gray badger sighs.

Listen to the bass it's the one on the bottom,Where the bullfrog croaks and the hippopotamusMoans and groans with a big to-too,And the old cow just goes moo.Chorus

It's a simple song of living sung everywhere,By the ox and the fox and the grizzly bear,Grumpy alligator and the hog above,The sly old weasel and the turtle dove.

Come And Follow

Me and Andrew, we’ve been fishin’, the best part of the nightWe’d caught nothin’ for all our tryin’, come the mornin’, and the light –Then I saw HIM, out a little ways from the land, He started teachin’ all the peopleAnd they listened there in silence on the sand.

ChorusCome and follow, come and follow, come and follow, come and follow me.Come and follow, come and follow, come and follow, come and follow me.

When He’d ended all His teaching, He turned around and spoke again to meHe said, “Simon, row out farther, drop your nets once again into the sea.”I said, “Master, we’ve been workin’ since sundown yesterdayBut one more time, I’ll throw them over just because it’s You who say.”

Chorus

Now James and John, they’re both my witness to the truth in what I’ve said. How our nets were filled to bursting more than both our boats could ever hold. And I fell down before Him cryin’, Leave me Lord, I’m full of sin.He said, Simon, don’t be frightened, follow Me and you will learn to fish for men.
