Celebrating Ten Years Of Salon Privé
Welcome to the tenth edition of Salon Privé, the UK’s premier Supercar Show
& Concours d’Elégance. In a short time, Salon Privé has established itself
not only as a leading international automotive event, attended by the most
prestigious premium and bespoke manufacturers from around the world, but
also a social occasion that rivals the very best.
Whilst it retains the ambience, convivial atmosphere and exquisite hospitality
that it has always been so renowned for, it is a continually evolving event which
has become internationally recognised on the automotive scene. Originally a
stand-alone Supercar Show, it is now also a world-class Concours d’Elégance,
not to mention an all-encompassing, full-hospitality, luxury lifestyle event.
Salon Privé will thus comprise of:
• The British Supercar Show
• Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance (pre-1976)
• The Salon Privé Sale
• ‘Speed & Style’ Supercar Competition (1976 to modern day)
• Hypercar Collection
• Concepts & Prototypes Display
• EFG Art Fair
• Luxury Brands Village
Moving to Blenheim Palace presents Salon Privé and its partners with a
long-term opportunity to further develop, enhance and refine our already
spectacular event and the stage is set for what promises to be a sensational
tenth edition.

Blenheim Palace
History
Blenheim Palace is a spectacular Stately Home situated in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, and was a gift from Queen Anne and a grateful nation to the 1st Duke of Marlborough following his famous
victory at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704. It remains the principal residence of the Duke of Marlborough and it is the only non-royal, non-episcopal, Stately Home in England to hold the title
of ‘Palace’. One of England’s largest houses, it was built between 1705 and 1722 and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It was designed by the famous architect Sir John
Vanbrugh in the rare English Baroque style and is surrounded by over 2,000 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped Parkland and stunning Formal Gardens which represent a perfect example
of the English landscape garden movement and style.
Famed as the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace is one of the country’s finest and most spectacular Stately Homes and currently home to the 12th Duke and Duchess of
Marlborough.
Facilities
The South Lawn of Blenheim Palace provides the perfect setting for the newly configured Salon Privé. Allowing the event to be fully enclosed and private whilst the Palace and Formal Gardens
remain open to the general public, clearly demonstrates the flexibility of the venue. Visitor access to the event area is a short walk via the Snake gate which connects directly with the parking
area. A separate entrance is available for speedy and efficient set-up and dismantle.
Accessibility
Blenheim Palace is situated in the picturesque and historic town of Woodstock, 8 miles North West of Oxford on the A44 Evesham Road, approximately one hour’s drive from both London and
Birmingham. Stratford-upon-Avon is only 45 minutes away and locations such as Manchester and Leeds now become easily accessible. Approaching Oxford on the M40, exit at junction 9 and
follow signs to Blenheim Palace. From other directions take the A44 exit from the Oxford by-pass. There is unlimited free car parking at the venue. The nearest main line train station is Oxford
which is approximately 20 minutes away and shuttles will be available to take exhibitors and guests to and from the event. For those attending from further afield, there is the option of arriving
by helicopter or indeed private jet with Oxford Airport and the smaller private airport 5 minutes away, making the event more accessible for both UK and overseas guests than ever before.
Local Amenities
Salon Privé is set to become a destination event; an event to which people drive and should they wish, stay overnight in 1 of the 40 plus local hotels. Historic Woodstock, with its beautiful
boutique shops, restaurants and hotels, sits alongside Blenheim Palace and is just a short walk from the event.

Why Exhibit?
Salon Privé is a motor show unlike any other in the UK thanks to its focus
on the premium end of the automotive market, attracting over 5,000 HNW
collectors, buyers and enthusiasts over the event. It is also an upmarket
Garden Party as well as a boutique luxury lifestyle event, delivering a uniquely
exclusive experience for both exhibitors and visitors and as a result, it is a
highly cost and time-effective route to your target audience.
Raising brand awareness and selling product are the two key objectives of most
brands and in both cases, Salon Privé excels. The event offers a tremendous
networking / cross promotional platform – whether meeting new prospective
customers or entertaining existing clients and partners, Salon Privé delivers
on all levels. No automotive event offers the level of hospitality and service
that we do and no event will make your guests feel as special either.
Without the crowds and queues normally associated with motor shows,
the atmosphere is exclusive, unobtrusive, relaxing and entirely conducive
to spending quality time with guests interested in your brand and products.
Furthermore, as a ‘moving’ motor show, the excellent local road network
makes it ideal for test drive and demonstration opportunities and all clients
are invited to make full use of this.

Salon Privé Visitor Overview
Guests of Salon Privé are pre-qualified, high net worth individuals who own
super & luxury cars, have collections of classic cars and actively purchase
luxury goods. The exhibitor and sponsor packages include varying quantities
of full hospitality tickets with which to entertain customers and given that only
premium brands attend Salon Privé, the customers are naturally affluent. With
automotive and luxury brands participating, the event provides exhibitors and
sponsors with a unique cross promotional opportunity.
The Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance now ranks in the top three classic
car events in the world and attracts wealthy classic car collectors, owners
and enthusiasts not only from the UK but from around the world. Corporate
Hospitality is a key contributor to the visitor profile with a number of private
banks, insurance brokers, law firms, accountancy and property-related
companies regularly entertaining their top clients at the event. Guests can also
purchase individual, non-reserved seating tickets which range from £95.00 ex
VAT for Saturday to £270.00 ex VAT for a fully inclusive ticket on Thursday.

PR & Marketing
2015 represents a very important year in the event’s history as we not only
move to a new home, but also celebrate our tenth anniversary. As a result, the
event will naturally expand, attracting more exhibitors, sponsors and guests
and become even more prominent on the national as well as international
stage. The move will require a highly focused and sustained PR & Marketing
campaign to maximise the opportunity and attract as many guests as
possible and for this task, we have appointed TORQUE PR as our media and
communications agency.
TORQUE PR is a highly experienced agency that has worked with the best
brands, across the automotive and luxury goods sectors, mixing digital
content creation and social media expertise, with live events and media

of directors who individually boast over 20 years’ experience in creating
communications strategies that gain recognition and enhance reputations.

Benefits & Opportunities
Continually adapting to the changing requirements and expectations, of not only exhibitors and sponsors but
also our guests, sets Salon Privé apart from other events and the relocation to Blenheim Palace presents us
with perhaps the greatest opportunity in the event’s history to-date. Key benefits and opportunities for the
new event include:
• Wider exposure: no longer just a London-centric event, Salon Privé will now be as easily accessible to
visitors from Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.
• Increased visitor attendance: the wider catchment area and the revised format, to include a Saturday, will
certainly result in significantly increased visitor numbers. With previous event figures consistently up each
year, Salon Privé has the recognition and reputation to continue expanding, while continuing to deliver quality
• Travel options: Blenheim Palace is served by an excellent road network from all directions and parking is
readily available at the venue. Fast trains from London to Oxford, which is 8 miles away, take just 50 minutes
and a private airfield, 5 minutes away, can receive helicopters as well as private jets.
• A destination event: an event to which guests can drive, perhaps extending their visit with an overnight stay
in one of the charming local hotels in Woodstock and a weekend in historic Oxford.
• Test-drive: the local road network around Blenheim Palace offers excellent test-drive opportunities.
• Increased Dealer participation: With Centres and Dealerships throughout London, South East, the Midlands
and the North, the majority of brands will have considerably greater opportunity to involve their network, who
in turn, can use the event to entertain customers.
• Visitor Experience: In addition to the supercars, luxury brands and hospitality, guests can also enjoy the
spectacular Parkland and Formal Gardens of Blenheim Palace. Tickets can also be purchased for guided
Tours inside the Palace.
