We are Legoklossene - eight people with different backgrounds and a lot of knowledge. During our time at NHH we have been active in many parts of the Student Union, and therefore have a good understanding of how things work. This, combined with a burning commitment and desire to make the Student Union as best as possible, is why we stand for election.

We have set ourselves high goals, and are not frightened by the idea of early mornings and late evenings. We want to build on the good foundation others have laid before us, but we will also dare to think in new directions. By receiving inputs from you, together we will build the Student Union brick for brick.

NHHS has for many years been the professional playground, where dreams come true and all the tools in the toolbox are developed. The new long-term strategy has set a steady course for the future, and together we will build the largest lego castle stud.nhh has seen.

ABOUT US

During my three years here at NHH I have been involved in several student groups, and I have therefore gained a lot of knowledge on how the Student Union works. I’m now incredibly motivated to take the next step, and feel confident that myself and those I have around me have what it takes to give NHHS a lift.

It is important that new students at NHH get good information on application deadlines and tryouts. One way to provide better information is by having one “standsaften” for sub-groups, and one for the interest- and sports groups.

As shown in the SHoT survey, NHHS students want more non-alcohol related events at school. I believe more alcohol free events both during the Welcome Week and throughout the semester should supplement our present programme.

Transport of both material and personnel is often needed in the Student Union. At present, car rental and use of private cars is the solution. Therefore I believe that NHHS should be in the possession of a car on a full time basis.

There is no doubt that NHHS means a lot to me. The Student Association here at NHH gives me the joy and the commitment needed to make my study time unforgettable.

As head of projects my main focus is on the welcome week, which I am very excited to work with. In addition, I want to focus more on the social happenings that meet the new students after the welcome week. Therefor my goal is to create a new tradition; a dinner for the first year students that is to be held a few months after the welcome week.

Furthermore, I want a better arrangement for following up the first year students through a mentoring scheme, where a group of older students answer the questions they might have.Projects are fun, and I promise to give everything to assure that next year will be filled with exciting and well conducted NHHS projects.

I have spent a lot of my time on NHH working with the Student Union. Through Direksjonsmusikken, the Technical Group and the Academic Committee, I’ve gotten to know both the serious and the social parts of our Student Union. These combined experiences give me a unique insight into NHHS and, combined with my strong desire to make NHHS the best possible place for ALL students, the reason I now stand for election.

Our basement needs a little cosmetic change. Holes in the walls and broken mirrors and equipment is not good enough for the best Student Union in Norway. The Aula

is pretty run down, and something needs to be done. This is an issue that needs input from all stakeholders and will be a focal point of what I plan to accomplish in this position.

For NHHS to function optimally we need good internal procedures. By always having the relevant information available to the ones who need it, time can be saved and unnecessary confusion can be avoided. I will therefore work to improve the internal procedures.

For the past year, I´ve been working with NHHS. Processes such as booking business presentations has granted me considerable insight into the student associations marketing efforts. It has been exciting and educational to collaborate across subgroups, and to be in contact with the business sector. Today, NHHS lacks a platform with information on the extent of NHHS’ corporate relations. Along with Markedsgruppen, I want to create a simple system for NHHS marketing. A CRM-system is a possible solution – to summarize, a CRM-system will display all assigned information on one platform. In the future, such a

system will help to strengthen the internal corporate relations in NHHS, as well as facilitate a more professional approach to the business sector. A wide range of partners is important for NHHS. Consequently, I intend to land a new main partner by the end of my term. Additionally, I will work to maintain existing agreements. I wish to have a close relation to Markedsgruppen, NHHS Consulting and the Business Committee. Together we will work to strengthen NHHS marketing internally and externally.

I have always taken an interest in pedagogy, especially since I started my bachelor at NHH. During my time in Fagutvalget, a member of the pedagogy committee, and most importantly, as a student, I have been given the opportunity to explore pedagogy more. Now I want to take it a step further. As head of academic affairs I want to set pedagogy on the agenda. I want to start a pilot project, that will test and document the effect of different pedagogical tools. I hope this will motivate our professors to further develop their teaching skills.

If you want to begin your master degree within the standard time, you have only one opportunity to finish the 040-courses. I want to change this by working for the option of retaking these exams in august.

I also want to strengthen the voices of the representatives from Fagutvalget by giving them access to the course evaluations. And lastly I want you to receive feedback on your academic writing in order to learn from it. The best students in Norway deserve the highest quality education, and therefore this is what I will be working towards!

Through various positions in the Relay Committee and NHH Aid during my time at NHH I have worked with both information and marketing, and have thereby gained important experience in branding and communication. My engagement has in no way faded over the years and I have never been more motivated to embark on a new experience!

As head of public affairs, I will build upon the work previously done in addition to bringing in my own projects. I will start the development of an NHHS app that will cover the basic functions a regular NHH student needs on a daily basis, and facilitate the

implementation of additional features in the future.

I will make a petition on nhhs.no where students can post their own suggestions and vote on others’. This is intended as a low-threshold solution for students to make suggestions about improvements and changes to NHHS, and to get feedback on what interests stud.nhh.

I will also do my utmost to increase the involvement and awareness of the elections and will work to get election turnout as high as possible!

Since my first day at NHH I have loved to be able to contribute to the Student Union. I now have a great desire to continue to contribute to the Student Union as the head of financial affairs in Kjernestyret. The things I want to work hard for the coming year is to look at the possibility of introducing a storage system for KKU, to make it easier to have control over all the beer and soda in the storage room.

I also want to make sure that the head of financial affairs in the project organisations, like UKEN, NHH

Symposiet and Studentlekene Bergen Challenge, gets all the training and knowledge needed. This I will accomplish by arranging meetings where they can exchange the knowledge they have with each other.

I have always been interested in politics and I now want to represent NHHS in national student politics. I will work to make sure that NHHSs opinions are taken into consideration in the national debate on education. As head of external affairs one of my main goals will be to prompt more debate and political involvement in NHHS. To encourage this, I will arrange a monthly pub debate in Campus that addresses topics of matter. It is also important for me to work for a better mental

health among the students. In a recent survey, 1/5 of the students say that they are struggling with their mental health. Therefore I will prioritize the work of making sure that everyone that needs help, gets is.
