Head Lice

In recent weeks there has been an outbreak of head lice at school. To eradicate this problem we need everyone’s help to check and treat their children’s hair.

Ice Cream Stall

Year 6 will be having an Ice Cream

Stall on Tuesday 17th March. The ice

creams will cost $1.00 each. Students

wishing to purchase an ice cream can

bring their $1.00 to school on Tuesday.

The ice cream stall will take place

during lunch time. All money raised will

Attendance

Much research has been done to show the link between

excellent attendance at school and the correlation to

students completing their high school studies and going on

to being actively employed as adults. Please ensure your

child is at school each day on time so he/she can develop

good study habits.

Due to changes in the Department’s policy on attendance,

overseas trips and holidays during school term time are no

longer able to be approved by the Principal. The

Department states that all trips and holidays should be

taken during school holiday times.

Over the holidays, major work was completed on the

grounds. New concrete was laid in the top area and new

asphalt in the bottom playground and planter boxes

removed. The rest of the seats will be bolted back when

all the parts are delivered.

Yours sincerely

Meg Peel Principal
