Step  1  Place  the  rubber  pad  on  the  bottom  and  insert  two  zip  ties  through  the  Speed  Sensor.

Step  2  Find  a  position  on  the  frame  where  the  cadence  sensor  is  near  the  end  of  the  crank.    Mount  the  Speed  Sensor  at  this  position  by  engaging  the  zip  ties,  but  do  not  tighten  them  completely.

 Pairing  with  Sportiiiis:

1. Move  at  least  30ft  from  any  ANT+  sensors  you  do  not  wish  to  pair  with  Sportiiiis.    2. Spin  the  crank  and  rear  wheel  to  active  the  Bike  sensor.  3. Tap  and  hold  the  Sportiiiis  multi-‐function  button  until  you  hear  three  beeps

and  then  let  go.  4. You  will  hear  an  audible  confirmation  when  the  Bike  Sensor  is  found.

Calibrating  the  Speed  Sensor:  For  accurate  speed  measurements  it  is  necessary  to  enter  your  wheel  circumference  into  the  Sportiiiis  Configuration  Utility.    Go  to  Setup  >  Sensors:

Note:  If  not  readily  available,  there  are  many  online  resources  to  help  determine  the  circumference  of  your  wheel.    Here  are  two  popular  sites.

• http://www.bikecalc.com/wheel_size_math  • http://sheldonbrown.com/cyclecomputer-‐calibration.html

Maintenance  for  your  Bike  Sensor:  Replacing  the  Battery  –  Use  a  coin  to  remove  the  cover  on  the  back  side  of  the  Speed  Sensor  to  reveal  the  battery  (CR2032).    Be  careful  not  to  damage  the  rubber  seal  when  reassembling.        The  4iiii  Bike  Sensor  is  waterproof  and  can  be  cleaned  as  necessary.
