The NRMC group has developed a timeline for this month and has

gotten several electrical/programming projects rolling. Some of the

group’s upcoming goals are to finish the NASA frame, get

everything mounted, and get the robot driving. If you are interested

in helping with the mechanical shenanigans, contact

ryan.j.swanson@ndsu. For electrical/programming, email

[email protected].

Ri3D Drivetrain Project:

If you missed the meeting for this last week, contact [email protected] or

[email protected] for the information! This is a great way to get involved and

prepared for the Robot in Three Days project coming up on January 12th.

Jumpstart Training Event 2015:

Sign up for behind-the-scenes volunteering via the link on the front page! This will be a

great volunteer opportunity for Bison Robotics, and lunch is free!

Meetings are every Monday from 6-8pm. The quad project is

going well: both quads are flying with stable flights. They are

now waiting on parts that will enable the copters to fly

autonomously, and they are going over the competition rules.

They are entering the AUVSI Seafarer competition that will take

place early this summer.

The mechanical and electrical teams have been hard at work. The Creo model

should be completed by the end of this week, and all parts should be ordered by

the end of the month already. Battle Bots is currently looking for people

interested in being part of various necessary subgroups for scouting,

marketing, documentation, and fundraising. If you are interested, contact

Jordyn Johnson. The competition will be taking place in May, 2016 in

Pennsylvania.
