Method 1- By using APP MODIFIED BITMEN BASED MEMBRANES FOR WATERPROOFING Sl.No. Item Description Unit Rate Amount 1 Surface Preparation

All surfaces to be waterproofed should be sound, clean and dry and free of any laitance, grease and oil, dirt and other loose materials . The prepared surface should be dry and free of dust, oil and other contaminants. All protrusions to be removed to level the surface. Algae and fungi must be removed. After treatment leave for 2-3 hrs and then wash down thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry completely. Repairing of Crack by 'V' grove cutting and filling with polymer motor by using Dr. Fixit URP or equivalent and cement as per the manufacture specification. Priming Priming shall be carried out using Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer or equivalent oil based primer as per the specifications. APP MODIFIED BITMEN BASED MEMBRANES FOR WATERPROOFING Providing and laying APP Membaren with per fabricated 5 layer , 3mm thick waterpfoofing Dr. Fixit Torchshield P 3160 membranes (or equivalent) are applied by torch-on application using a standard roofer’s torch. The membranes should be heated carefully ensuring the PE film on the underside is completely removed as work proceeds and to ensure adequate adhesion to the substrate. All laps should be properly secured in its lap joints, during application ensuring that a continuous 5 mm bead of bitumen is extruded from all laps. Side laps must follow the manufactured mineral free selvedge. In any case, side laps should be a minimum of 100mm, with end laps of a minimum of 150 mm, when not using the granule-free roll end.Technical Information PROPERTIES TYPICAL VALUES TEST METHOD Roll size 10 M X 1 M EN-1848 Thickness 3 mm / 4 mm UEAtc M.O.A.T.30 Unit weight kg/sq.m. 3.6 – 4.6 UEAtc M.O.A.T.30 Elongation at break L-45%, T-80% (Max) EN-12311-1 Tensile Strength (N/5cm) L – 700, T-450 EN-12311-1 Tear Strength L– 300 N, T-250 N ASTM D-5147
