Josie Adams (Olive Ostrovsky) is excited to be reprising the role of Olive! She is a proud Grandstreet alum who now resides in Los Angeles. National tour credits: A Christmas Carol, Magic Tree House. Brandon Chandler (Mitch Mahoney) is honored to be making his debut performance at Grandstreet. Last spring Brandon performed as the Lion in the American Family Theatre's touring production of The Wizard of Oz. Some favorite roles include the title role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Radames in AIDA. Radames won Brandon a BTAA Award, and he was selected as a Chicago Tribune "actor destined for stardom." Shout out to family for love and support!
Thomas (Tom) Cordingley: (Douglas Panch) pronounces his name “Oh, like it is spelled!” When used in a sentence: “ Tom Cordingley is the recent past Managing Director of Grandstreet Theatre who keeps returning to his old digs to find his fortune which is not working out like many scripted theatre shows.” You may remember him as the bearded wonder of Beauty & The Beast who was not the beast. He is now considered the “Old Penny” on stage who somehow lands heads up.
Jeff Downing (Chip Tolentino) received a BFA from the University of Cincinnati, College-‐Conservatory of Music. Jeff has been directing, teaching, and designing professionally since 2003. Grandstreet directorial credits include: Secret Garden, Lucky Stiff, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Cabaret, Next to Normal, and Les Miserables along with numerous scenic and costume designs. Favorite roles include: Baker (Into the Woods), Charlie Brown (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Man One (Songs For a New World), Tateh (Ragtime), and the Master of Ceremonies (Cabaret).
Lysa Fox (Rona Lisa Perretti) is ecstatic to be in Helena for her seventh consecutive summer. She just finished year #2 as the head of the BFA in Musical Theatre at Western Illinois University. Some favorite projects include: Ordinary Days (director), Ragtime (Mother), Into the Woods (Bakers Wife and previously Cinderella), Singin’ In The Rain (director/choreographer), All Shook Up (director/choreographer), The Last Five Years (Cathy), Still Life With Iris (director), Always, Patsy Cline (Patsy). Many thanks to dear friends and colleagues Marianne, Jeff and the Cordingleys for continuing to bring me home! Lysa dedicates this summer to her great nieces and nephews -‐ Lexie, Emary, Peyton, Isiah, Keaton, and little Lysa – indeed, practically perfect, in every way!
Emily Nash (Marcy Park) made her Grandstreet debut last summer playing Fiona in Shrek the Musical and is thrilled to be back! Emily earned her BA in Drama from Vassar College and lives in Brooklyn. She is a member of the resident acting company at The Flea Theater, where she just performed in The Mysteries, a radical retelling of The Bible by 48 playwrights. Josey Montana McCoy (Leaf Coneybear) considers himself an OK speller. Thank goodness his mom, sister and girlfriend are awesome spellers! He's super excited to return to Grandstreet for a fourth summer! Josey grew up in Kentucky, graduated from UK and lives in LA. Previous Grandstreet appearances: Big River, Ragtime, Hairspray, Into the Woods, and All Shook Up. Listen for Josey's voice in an upcoming Monster High animated film! Robert Riordan (William Barfee) is very excited to make his Grandstreet debut in one of his favorite shows! From Las Vegas, he is a proud, rising junior at The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University. Some of his previous credits include Victor in Smokey Joe's Cafe, Nicely in Guys and Dolls, and Baby John in West Side Story. He is very grateful for his mom, sister, and incredible friends who support him on his theatrical adventures.
