BIOMEDICAL SERVICING

Leading the support and service of healthcare technologies to meet Australian standards for more than 30 years

MAINTAIN PERFORMANCE ACCURACY AND ELIMINATE DOWNTIME

It is vital that Biomedical Equipment is tested on a regular basis to maintain Australian Standards and manufacturer specifications.

Regular testing provides both the user and patient with confidence, knowing that the equipment being used is safe and will provide accurate information from which safe diagnosis can be derived.

With a second to none reputation for service excellence Mediquip technicians provide preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on almost any type of biomedical equipment. Having a highly qualified technical team allows our customers access to technical information when required and, should the need arise, our service department can be contacted 24 hours a day 7 days a week for support and equipment advice.

Equipment servicing entails the following benefits to the customer:

• Local - servicing can be undertaken at your premises, Australia-wide

• Confidence - all maintenance and repairs are completed by qualified Biomedical Technicians

• Efficient - as well as testing and adjusting, any repairs deemed necessary will be addressed immediately

• Flexibility – out-of-hours service is available to reduce downtime

FUNCTIONAL TESTING: Biomedical Assets will be functionally tested by our technicians using the latest traceable calibrated test equipment. Where necessary, perished components will be replaced and manufacturer recommended overhauls will be completed to maintain equipment in optimal condition.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY: All medical electronic equipment is tested for its electrical safety as per Australian Standard 3551 – Technical Management Programs for Medical Devices. This testing is carried out to ensure the piece of equipment is electrically safe to use for both the patient and the user. The specifications of these tests far exceed standard office equipment electrical safety tests and must be carried out by a qualified Biomedical Technician.

TEST EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATION: All Mediquip test equipment is maintained to a rigorous calibration schedule. Calibrations are traceable and certificates can be supplied immediately upon request in the event of an equipment audit.
