Cooperation between South Norway, Denmark and West/South Sweden

Activities in the whole value chain in order to support and stimulate increased investments in production and usage of biogas.

• Many cooperations for developments of new technology, tools, methods, concepts andbusiness models

• Increased usage of biogas, mainly within transportation

• Organise a Biogas Plattform that is connecting the work of the regional biogas clusters and creating an overall vision for biogas with targets in Scandinavia and increase the political dialogue

Biogas 2020 shall:

• Contribute to a decreased climate impact, greener economy and sustainable growth across the country borders.

• Establish a Scandivian biogas plattform that with the power of actors in the whole industry in all three countries will make an impact for development of biogas in the region.

• Lay the ground for massive investments in renqwable energy corresponding to 1 billion SEK and at the same time create 1 000-1 500 new grenn jobs, over a10-year period.
