The Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CGCIC) is the
official representative of German trade and industry in Canada. The CGCIC pro-
motes bilateral trade and investment between Canada and Germany. The CGCIC
provides information and consulting services for German and Canadian compa-
nies interested in doing business with the foreign market. The services include
address research, market studies, business partner search, consulting services,
trade fairs and conferences.
At the same time, the Chamber is an organization with 600 Canadian and Ger-
man private and corporate members. In this function the Chamber acts as a
platform that allows members to network and make new contacts. The CGCIC’s
head office is located in Toronto and branch offices are in Montreal and Van-
couver.
