1. Establishment of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC)

My proposal for establishment of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) in

our College have sanctioned from the academic year 2012-13 by National Science & Technology

Entrepreneurship Board (NSTEDB), DST, Govt. of India with financial assistance of Rs. 45.3

lakhs. It is five years project & I am the coordinator of IEDC. The objective of the IEDC is to

inculcate the innovation driven entrepreneurships in students. To fulfill this objective, IEDC

sponsors student’s five innovative projects every year with financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh each

including fellowship of Rs.30,000/- for students, organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps,

University Level Project Exhibition etc.

Outcome: The participation of students in research activities has been increased, IEDC funded

projects have secured prizes in national level competitions.

2. NBA Accreditation:

Presented the Department before peer team of National Board of Accreditation and department

secured 729 marks out of 1000 and accredited for 2 years w.e.f. 1/07/2014.

3. NAAC:

Prepared the criteria 4 (Infrastructure and Learning Resources) of Self Study Report the college

for NAAC Accreditation which will be presenting in January 2016.
