Aleta C. Saunders For Aleta C. Saunders, a native Bostonian and 25-plus-year Atlanta resident, describing her approach and outlook to real estate can be summarized into one word: passion. Having lived in other major cities like New York, New Orleans, and Los Angeles--as well as internationally, in Australia, New Zealand, and South America--Saunders' passion is infused with a global perspective and with the drive to serve, support, and protect every one of her clients' needs. Buying a home is one of the most important purchases one can make in their lifetime, and Saunders is adamant about steering her clients in the right direction, during what can be a highly emotional experience. "I am there to dot the i's and cross the t's," Saunders explains. Having begun her career with a background in sales and marketing, and finance and leasing, and in insurance management for Robinson's Cadillac, Rich's Leasing, and Robinson's Volkswagen, Saunders was wooed into pursuing a real estate career in 1988 by one of her clients. Upon receiving her license, Saunders joined one of Atlanta's first buyer's broker agencies, Purchasers Representatives, where she received her ABR designation. In the years to come, as she quickly grew her clientele, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the real estate industry, Saunders would make educating the consumer a personal mission. Licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas through a joint venture, Saunders has built her reputation and real estate business savvy on providing clients with knowledge, service, integrity and experience. Her employment as a realtor with some of the major real estate companies such as ReMax, Jon Brown and Associates, Elite Real Estate Properties, propelled her to found Marquis Brokers in 2002. Despite an ever changing real estate climate over the past few years, Saunders continues to become the top-selling realtor for Marquis Brokers. Saunders penned several articles, including in The Atlanta Tribune, sharing much-needed information about the process and the importance of good representation to the average homebuyer. Her growing popularity as a knowledgeable and conscientious realtor landed her several magazine features, including Essence Magazine (January 2008) and Living Space Magazine (Summer 2004). In yet another grand step toward fulfilling her mission of educating and raising awareness in the community, Saunders' passion will be brought to the public in her upcoming radio show premiering mid-April 2008. The program, "Real Estate for Real Life", which will air Saturdays at 9 AM on 91.9 FM WCLK, will feature the latest real estate developments and trends on the Metropolitan Atlanta market; provide information to assist in buying, selling, or investing in the real estate market; educate listeners on how to maintain their investment; provide an inside look at mortgage financing; enlighten potential buyers about first-time home-buyer programs; and will showcase communities in the metro Atlanta area. Saunders' dynamic body of work and extensive real estate experience continues to bring her to the forefront of her industry. As she moves forward in galvanizing her community, her clients and increasingly more of the public will, through her leadership, take ownership of their livelihood by owning a stake in the real estate market.
