Term 2 Week 4 Wednesday 17th May, 2017
Wow! What an amazing day we had Monday at Altina Wildlife Park. The students are buzzing with excitement and their new found knowledge. Thank you to all of the parents and community members who were able to attend this great experience with the students. Over the coming months, all NSW Public Schools will begin the process of collaboratively putting together the 2018 – 2020 School Plan. The identification of strategic directions is a consultative process and we will be calling on community members to assist with this process. This may be in the form of surveys, information sessions and meetings to ensure that all stakeholders at Binya Public School have some involvement in the process. The NSW Department of Education is currently implementing a standardised finance system and new financial processes for all NSW Public Schools as part of the Learning Management and Business Reform. School administrative and leadership staff will undertake intensive training to prepare Binya Public School for the ‘Go Live’ date on the 16th of October. LMBR training for myself and Mrs van Buuren will begin midway through Term 3. This is when we will begin to learn how the implementation of this state wide system will support student learning and achievement. Jaimee Damini
