4D-visualization of wall demolition work, phase 2 Background and modelling principles

Another visualization was conducted later concerning demolition work of the upper section of the same wall. Two alternative sequences of demolition work were visualized for decision-making. The latest Tekla tools available were tested for BIM based modellingThe latest Tekla tools available were tested for BIM-based modelling of the demolition parts: “Wall manager” and “Seam controller” tools being developed for concrete element walls by Tekla corporation. 4D-visualization with new (unlimited) color options were tested:

– natural colors for existing building parts (e.g. the used white color has not been available in previous versions of Tekla software.)

– irrelevant parts were left in the background using the gray color– the key issues were highlighted using chosen highlighting colors

DEMOLITION PARTS: Modelled with help of Wall manager and Seam controller tools / Tekla Structures 17.1 alfa2

Wall has been split into ”elements” > position of theelements -> position of the seams (saw cuts in this case) can be adjusted by movingthe seam components.
