It is designed in a way to ensure that the mission is carried out without any interruption and that the processors back each other up. It has protection against radiation effects along its orbit and it can recover from errors in its system. The interfaces that are used within the system follow the Space mission standards and the ESA SpaceWire protocol enables high-speed data transmis- sion. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS • LEON3 processor, 25MHz, RTEMS RTOS • PowerPC 603e processor, 200MHz, GreenHills Integrity RTOS • 16Gb protected SDRAM • 32Mb protected SRAM • 120Mbps SpaceWire • 4-port SpaceWire Router • Optoizole analogue and digital interfaces • HDLC up to 8Mbps • CAN, MIL-STD-1553B, RS422 interfaces The first parallel processor and memory system of Turkey in the supercomputer class, the design of which is suitable for space missions. Being a highly reliable and perfomance system it can be used for RADAR applications such as high-resolution- optics and SAR. With its double-cored, gigahertz-class processor, general-purpose signal processing components and high processing-performance, space-qualified memories, it provides the users with a large volume at the level of terabytes, that can be scaled and parallelized.
